I like the format, easy user interface, nice customizations. The charts should be improved, but it’s cool that they’re in there at all. Would love an addition to track cardio. There are other apps for that, but I really like this one for lifting and would love to have it all in one place.

This review is specially about the recent watch app update. I was excited to try the watch app but I’m very disappointed. I was made aware of the app when I started a usual workout on my phone and the watch app started automatically. Fine. I continued the workout using my phone but I would notice that the rest timers between the phone and app didn’t always match up. The watch app would notify me that I’d been resting for five minutes even though I’d moved on from the set on my phone. This also seems to effect the rest timer on the phone as suddenly it disappears from the screen sometimes and neither the phone nor the app will notify me of rest times properly. The watch app also goes off screen or suddenly shows a different exercise for no reason and generally buzzes me at random times. I also don’t like that in the watch app you have to end rest periods instead of just logging the next set as on the phone app. Furthermore, if I start a workout on the watch app or even interact with it during a workout started from my phone, the workout won’t show up in the activity app and I don’t get credit for the minutes. Overall, I hate it. I’ve had minor issues with the phone app in the past but usually it works perfectly. This watch app is not well integrated and is too buggy for me. I hope this is worked out soon because this mess has me thinking of getting another app for my workouts.

I love this program and the accompanying app. I am only speak from the point of view of a regular person, not an experienced body builder. I’ve tried other programs before and, while great exercise, I always hit a wall in advanced stages because I never was strong enough to finish them. Stronglifts helped me build strength and muscle unlike I had ever done before and it did it in a consistent and manageable fashion. The customer service is also top notch! I’ve had questions twice and each time they were answered within minutes. I highly recommend you give this a go!

The workout is effective and the app works well. You can enjoy it even without buying the premium subscription

Lifted weights on and off for all off my life - this app makes following one of the most effective programs easy to follow - am 61 & lifting more than when I was 40. My golf swing is back to 98 miles per hour and I have gained about 10% across all clubs in the last 18 months. The watch version has taken a great app to the next level - it means I can leave the phone in the locker. The team are always responsive to feedback.

Would have been five stars just for the phone app, but the watch app is terrible. I have yet to successfully log an entire workout with it. I plan to stick to the phone app for the time being until they get the watch app fixed.

I am a hard gainer, took a multi-year sabattical from the gym, and at 47yo I am back and making steady muscle and strength gains. I look better, feel better, and love the app. My wife, is impressed with my change in posture, strength, and body composition, and what could be a better compliment than that?
