I was struggling with the same type of workouts for 4 years. No more growth or gains. Committed to 5x5 to reset my body. Now found enjoyment. Love full body and quick rest work on timer.

Although this isn’t the first or only 5x5 program, it is perfect for people who are just beginning barbell training or for someone who has taken a long period off. And the graphs make it rewarding for o track progress. I would say, just don’t get discouraged when the you get to point where you can’t just add 5 pounds. Just deload.

For 5 stars there needs to be a way to log your workouts on an Apple Watch. Otherwise it’s a decent app. Just wish I didn’t have to carry my phone during a workout.
