It's ok.

The game is okay. You are supposed to collect whichever characters you want, but are limited as to how many you can have unless you spend cash. You'll get offered a whole lot of characters, but can keep less than half. The pricing system is very odd. The only way to have 5 star characters maxed is to spend a silly amount of real money. Very shameless. $4/month will give you daily dilithium. You need dilithium to get characters and equipment you need to advance. The game is a great time waster, but it lacks in being fun and exciting. I was a beta tester for this so I've been playing for 2 years and I'm still waiting for it to get fun. Customer service now takes 1 week to 10 days to respond to issues. I am going to delete this very soon as it no longer holds my interest. They are way too into Discovery. I have buyers remorse wishing I didn't spend all that money trying to get Borg characters that I was never going to be able to get enough of to max out. After 2 years I was able to get a 5 star character up to to 2 stars. There's no way I can hang around for another 3 just to finally be able to use Judge Q. There are characters they released one time and you never saw again - no way to get to 5 stars. This is confirmed by customer service and asking when other Convergence Day Quarks have been released other than the first time for example. Good bye.

Having problems

Having problems right now. Pls fix it. It says, game is experiencing high load or is down for maintenance.

Don’t bother

The game is basically a slot machine with Star Trek art. Added to that the developers consistently make sloppy mistakes. Just last week a new card was nerfed immediately after packs with it exited the store. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Don’t let this “game” hook you.

Pay to win garbage

I agree with many of the people on here. I got to about chapter 4 pretty easily but then hit a wall. There is practically no way to advance now without paying money. I have no problem paying money when a game is fun enough. I’ll pay money for perks to make my characters slightly better or get a ship I want. But if I’m not progressing in the game UNLESS I pay them I’m not paying anything. Make the game fun first. Let me progress without spending money. And then I will pay money to get cool new ships or characters. Otherwise you aren’t getting a penny out of me.

Avoid

Big fan of Trek, excited to try Timelines. 10 minutes in, and they’ve already hit me up for $24.99 to continue. It turns out the most entertaining part is the responses to reviews! A 1 star rating on a scathing review where ‘unbridled greed’ is the nicest part earns, “Thanks for the amazing review! We’re glad you enjoy...” Good games are hard to write, and it seems the same is true about good chat bots. I deleted this one in record time. Coding isn’t going to fix defective corporate values.

???

This could have been great, but nothing is explained at all, and it's an exercise in nostalgia while trying to hook you and empty your wallet. Shame on the devs! Imagine how awesome this could have been if it was actually fairly priced and made for fans to enjoy instead of stumble through. For the amount of star trek universe fandom in here, I expected far better. But it appears no amount of Vulcan logic or Human emotional appeal will ever matter to people like this. All they care about is money! The constant downloads as well are annoying. Don't waste your time. You're better off with mods to games that are actualky made by fans for fans. Not greedy trekkies looking to sacrifice ethics for a quick buck and sell out to some soulless corporation.

Is only playable at first

Stupid apple nickname crap

After a couple weeks of playing there is no way to continue building crew without paying money. It was fun until then. If they charged for the game it would be better. This way is just crappy.

Decent game, lacks decent customer support

I’ve been playing this game for a few months now. Being a Star Trek fan, I love the idea of collecting crew and ships from the various shows/movies. I also enjoy playing the events and other battles in the game. As with any app, there’s always a risk of glitches. Usually, it’s a simple matter of contacting the developer and they quickly get the issue solved. However, with this developer, I had an issue that I wrote to them about one week ago. The issue regarded something that involved something bought with real money. I got an initial response hours after sending in the support ticket, which is understandable. However, the response was basically that the company was correct and I was in the wrong. I responded within 2 hours of getting the response only to wait 22 hours for their response, which was that my request for a manager was passed on and they’d get to me in a few days. The manager basically repeated the previous email’s response and did not answer any of my further questions I asked in the second email. Now it’s been a week later and I still have no solution to an issue. Talking with other players, there’s been other issues with customer support not being helpful, blaming the issue on the player, and even worse in some cases. In the end, you should play the game if you like these types of games and also if you enjoy Star Trek. However, be aware that if you have an issue, whether it involves real money or not, you might not get helpful customer service.

Good at first, but the storyline just stops at “episode” 8

R.J. F

I’ve been playing this game off and on since it launched and it’s a great game, but somewhere along the line the developer stopped including new “episodes” - groups of missions that advance the plot. While several new features and weekly events/missions manage to hold interest, it’s been forever since the plot of the overall story hasn’t been updated in a significant amount of time and it seems like the developer has switched gears and decided to focus on add-ons that bring in more money through in-app purchases. Eventually these become very repetitive and quite boring.

This game is out of the world and phasers away any other game

Guydu

I watch way to much Star Trek and now to have a game that includes all of it is fantastic 10/10 stars if I could give more I would thxs creators for making this photonic game
