Correction

My apologies. Due to a technical malfunction, somehow my review for Scopely’s Fleet Command became attached to Timelines. This is an unfortunate error and I hold nothing against Timelines and thank them for their response

Takes Longer Than My Attention-Span to Load

Oraek

Can’t even comment as to the gameplay, because I never got that far. I don’t have over 5 minutes for any game to load on a latest gen phone (Xs). And I can’t even tell you how long it takes to load, because I quit after 5 minutes. I thought when it finished the first load I’d finally get to play, but then when the second one popped up and started taking forever to load the “multiverse,” I gave up midway. This review took a fraction of the time warning you than I wasted on this game.

Very fun, game stays fresh every week

I’m a long-time Trek fan, And this game immediately drew my interest. I love how true to the series the game stays, and how much depth and detail goes into so many aspects of it. It is not a pay to win game, although paying for certain aspects can speed you along and I like that it doesn’t feel forced to buy. One big addition I would like to see added to the game would be more interactions with your fleet. Our fleet has a lot of fun talking amongst each other, and we even have several rivalries with other fleets. It would be awesome if there were ways to challenge them to ship battles, gauntlets, etc. Also make fleet rewards part of events, as there are already fleet rankings I feel there should also be rewards involved. In summary, great game, but would love to see more MMO aspects added to make that feeling of community have an impact on the game.

This Starship Has Crashed...

Scooter the 2nd

The game itself looks phenomenal, but the app keep crashing on me. Currently, I'm on Infinity and that's when the app crashes and closes on me. What can be done to fix this? Because again, I really like this app and want to have the best experience with it.

It’s a money pit with

ajbbjsjab

very little actual game time and you’ll spend the bulk of your time mining for items. You’ll complete a few missions and then you’ll realize you’ll have to dish out wads of money to get even get not even mildly a head. I hadn’t been playing the game for very long till I hit the wall. The storyline is a great idea but the boring game play (due to all the mining) and the fact that you have to spend a lot of money to buy packs that are a gamble at best makes the game a huge disappointment. I’ve been a Star Trek fans for decades and I was excited when I found this game but unfortunately it is hot trash.

Fair and balanced, and a lot of fun!

Timelines is by far he most egalitarian freemium games I’ve ever played. Obviously it won’t do anything for ya if you aren’t a hard core trekky, but if you’re as deep down the rabbit hole of Trek as I am, you’ll seriously get a major kick out of this game. While the concepts which underly the game aren’t revolutionary by themselves, the way it’s all put together is genuinely unique, and offers a great many activities in comparison to any game— and they keep adding to it! The skill (gear) curve can be a little steep, but thanks to bracketing and ranking, anyone can jump into any aspect of the game without being ganged up on by OP players above them. Also, community rewards, mass compensation for bugs and server down time, and general free stuff is RAMPANT in this game, in the BEST WAY POSSIBLE! And while pay to play is very helpful (and I’m admittedly deep down that rabbit hole myself) it’s not essential in the least, much more so than any freemium game I’ve played. It is however, a very dense game and takes a little research to get a firm handle on what you’re doing, but the Timelines wiki provides an excellent starting place, especially the starter guides and “big book of beholds”. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the customer service is genuinely exceptional. I’ve had numerous interactions with customer service and they’ve been beyond patient, helpful and understanding. Hell, I was once pretty rude out the gate (frustrated over a mistake that honestly could easily have been considered “my fault” [and likely would by another game’s team]), and not only did they respond quickly with kindness and personal attention, they reversed the error I had made as if I’d never made it— wow! These guys really take care of the community, and if the increasing content over the last few months are any sign, this game has a long and expansive future ahead of it!

Good game, faulty service

I have been playing ST:Timelines for over a year, as a free to play game, and have enjoyed the process of slowly building my fleet & crew. That is, until last week. I had upgraded my iPhone & wiped clean the old one, but had neglected to reopen the game prior to that action, in order to retrieve my password. As a result, when I downloaded the game into my new iPhone, it didn’t recognize me & started me off at the very beginning of the game. I opened a support ticket & i initially began a dialogue, which basically informed me that I could recapture my old game stats by logging into my account. As I mentioned earlier, this was exactly my problem. So, I contacted again & explained again the problem Since then, radio silence. Very disappointed.

4 stars and still rising

the criticks

This is awesome. There’s drama, adventure, I feel crazy when I’m like that’s blah blah blah from TNG and he was leader of Blah blah blah. I only have 1 stars off because I personally love the game and am a big fan of Star Trek but the space battles are a little too simple. I wish there was some way of interacting with your ship like steering or aiming. It’s no big dealAnd then the explosion at the end is just pieces breaking apart. I wish that it was more dramatic. Just to make the game more interesting I feel like there should be more images for the options in the campaign Also I wish that you could interact with planets and space stations Finally I wish I could battle with characters like a fps or tps and team up on battles with friends instead of only one on one. I do have a lot of complaints but compared to the greatness that is timelines there’s not much. Great job disruptor beam and keep up the good work. I’m exited about your next games (preferably one where your a officer making your way up the ranks up to captain and it’s first person and you can free roam your ship, other ships planets and space stations

Basically a digital slot machine

Story makes no sense, gameplay is absurd, graphics are dull and it’s only reason for existence is to have you pay to play. Shame.
