A bit confusing and Pricey

Privateers

I play these kinds of games often. This one I can’t seem to get passed level 7 nor am I able to get a toon with strong phasers for me to get passed certain phases. Playing around with this game more I can see how you can cycle through quests but I am not clear on how to start some of them. So I am stuck. Not the case with other games. Also the in app purchases are a bit pricey...

It’s gotten better except....

Tib of ST

Ok to start with, if you know your Trek(s) this game will probably still stump you with some really obscure characters. The missions though are still repetitive and doesn’t really make you feel like you are accomplishing anything. WORST is the cash grab, shown nowhere more visibly perhaps in their “free” daily spin of the wheel for a reward. I have played this for years now and have NEVER won anything good on this. Worse still, if you pay for their exponentially increasingly expensive 2nd, 3rd, etc wheel spins with VERY pricey dilithium, you still don’t win anything approaching the value of what you’ve spent. I never did get any of what I spent my thousands of dilithium on. The same goes for their premium packs but you can, rarely, get something of value there. Working your way for months nets you a little honor which can be spent on other valuable things, but good luck, because it takes forever to earn it and nothing to spend it. The economy is out of whack in favor of the fool and his (or her) money, which has, I admit, on occasion been me! I still cannot heartily recommend this game until Disruptor Beam is visited by Dickin’s spirits and loosens it’s purse strings a bit.

Don’t download

Another pay the play scam!

Surprised game hasn’t been canceled yet

This game is a total fraud. From gameplay to events (although the storyline is the best part of the game). Even the forum reviews. Look at the dates...see below —Missions— Cost to much compared to timely manner energy is earned. Very slowly at 6min a point. Average mission is 10-18 on total scale of 4-24 points. Couple ways to get more on small scale without purchasing...but not nearly enough based on what level your on. —Events— Happen every single weekend. There’s more event time then standard game time. Of course steered towards making you purchase stuff since there’s so little time to prepare. —Servers— The servers have issues frequently. There is usually some kind of compensation. After so many timeouts, errors, and failures...it’s gets old. Compensation or not. —Drop Rates— Probably the single WORST aspect of this game. They are TERRIBLE. 100% drop takes 8 tries, 80% takes 15 or more etc. Have done missions 14 times to get 1 basic item with a 100% drop rating. Don’t forget how often energy is earned. Totally off the wall insane. —Characters— They almost stuff them down your throat with limited amount of crew space (purchasable but expensive after 2 or 3). The character pulls from the “store” pull from the exact same bucket of crew. After 15 straight pulls, to many faces seen more then 6 or 7 times. Also...the 3star Rare 10X pull is identical to the 4star Super-Rare 10X pull. —Arena Battles— Total sham. Computer always has upper hand no matter what. Can fire through your cloak and your evasions. —Items— There are far to many items with so few ways to obtain. Even the basic items can be worse to obtain the super-rare items. Some are only avail thru faction purchase and can take weeks to show up. Have waited 19 days for Section 31 to offer 1star Security Codes (only avail this way..no mission drops). Another off wall choice is the basic 1star Encoded Communique. 3 drop missions for it and it’s main drop rate is 20%. As many as 42 attempts for 1 (no faction purchase avail). —Forum Reviews— After looking thru them...I don’t know how the game is rated so high with so many issues other then they hide them. Good many of the 4 and 5 Star ratings are several months old or older. Each time I look at it...it’s always the same positive reviews. Few bad ones, but it’s pretty obvious to the noticer they favor good ones no matter the age. —Response Teams— Don’t get me started...the response here on the apple App Store is automated from Disrupter Beam. Many emails also look and sound automated other then a few lines and the signature. These just tips of the iceberg.

So intricate, thought provoking, and simple.

The game starts at a reasonable pace, guiding you through, and unlocking features through the first 10 levels. This gives you the not overwhelmed feeling and eases you in to the vast expanse the game has to offer. The game includes, missions, challenges, arena battles, space battles, voyages, and events. With over 500 characters and several galaxies in the Star Trek universe, you don’t get bored leveling characters and building items. Also raising your status with the factions increases your rewards. This game is unlike any other, but the ease of play keeps you coming back for more honor, credits, and dilithium, all with satisfaction I finally evolving a character to full level and equipment! Hopefully you try this out, it does not disappoint!

Love this game but beware poor tech support and fraudulent transactions

Guys, be extra careful if you spend money in-game. I have spent hundreds of dollars in-game since I have been playing. This past week I purchased an event pack which included two 10x event packs and a crew member. It clearly stated that these were 10x event packs which are "guaranteed" to include event crew. The first pack I opened included one event crew. The second did not. I was using a phone that did not allow me to take a screenshot but one would assume support could check to see what went wrong even without a screenshot. Basically, my support ticket was ignored because I didn't have a screenshot. Over a $9.99 pack, I will no longer purchase any in-game items. If you can't trust them to provide what they promise, I can't trust them with any financial transactions in the future. Totally uncool and unprofessional.

Disappointing money pit! They don't know was Star Trek really is!

Eriptron

It would be nice if someone could port over Activision’s “Bridge Commander” from 2002, designed by Bill Morrison. It was way better than this money pit or even the pixelated Trexels, which is ok. ‘Bridge Commander”had both single player as well as online game play. ——- This money pit of a game I find reprehensible to the memory of Gene Roddenberry.

Great game

This is a great game but you do have to pay to play long term to be successful. I do pay but it is worth it for me. I do feel bad for people that cant because the game will hit the wall and the gamer will have to make the choice. The developer does throw out some freebies from time to time, which is a nice perk. I say try it and see if you want to play long term. I did, and been playing for a long time now.

Game still has massive room for improvement

13thCylon

Game itself is not bad. Great story, great characters (other then no Kelvin timeline and several others). Game code however is terrible. Drop rates are the worst. They are the worst I’ve experienced in the 10yrs I’ve sold the iPhone and it’s competitors. 100% drop rate should not take 15 attempts for a total of 330 energy (at 22 energy per attempt) for an item that PLAINLY STATES 100% DROP CHANCE! That’s an entire days worth of energy saved and earned...all gone in 2minutes because of bad drop rates.

Pay To Win
