Welcome To the 24th Century

I have been a Star Trek fan for over 30 years, and have often thought how appealing it would be to live in the Trek universe. This may be the closest thing to being there. You can travel to familiar and not-so-well known planets, using ships from all of the series. There are now over 500 playable characters that can be used on missions. You get to choose which characters to keep, upgrade and use. You can also participate in PvP ship battles, using the ship and crew of your choice. Manned shuttle missions are another authentic feeling feature of this game. The game is always evolving, with great bonuses, regular events, and opportunities to mingle with other Starship Captains. The support staff is very professional and accommodating. If you want a great interactive Star Trek experience, you must try this addictive app.

Change it back!!!

I was playing today, and the new daily activities screen is confusing compared to the old one!

I’ve never written a review before but this game demands it. Where do I start? Amazing graphics great gameplay with enough depth to be overwhelming at first. Check out some of the online guides before jumping in. I’ve been playing this game for 3 weeks almost nonstop, I broke down and paid $3.99 to get a head start but by no means is this pay to play. I’m a 55 year old man who’s grown up with all things STAR TREK this game delivers!

One huge failure in the app

Cdub271

The app is ok but there is a huge failure I cannot overlook. When you load the app it takes over your sound system and turns off music you’re listen to even with the sound completely off. This is a pretty bad error since fixing the issue is simple. Try to find some folks who can code or let me know. I will helpZ

You can succeed as a free player

I just wanted to answer those people who talk about a pay wall and having to pay to win. This is just not true. I am a member of a fleet that is only for people who have never spent any money on their account. We have had more than one person rank #1 in an event, and even more rank in the top ten. Every week, multiple members are in the top one thousand. Some have immortalized as may as 300 characters. A former member, who has still not spent on the game, reached level 99, which is the rank ceiling, and much harder to do than rank number one in a single event. At any rate, a very enjoyable game. It just requires patience and the knowledge that if you keep going you will succeed.

Pay2Win Money Sink

This is basically a digital card collection game. The only way to come even close to placing in a weekly event is to spend tons of real-life money weekly. Needs serious rebalancing unless you are willing to dump hundreds of dollars per month into a stupid phone game.

CASH GRAB

This game is good, if not great for the developers as I am sure that they have been given a very nice little payday, which any avid fan whose income is is so limited by the economy or job that they hold can not afford! And be warned you are assaulted by them as soon as the game begins!

Enjoy the game but runs super hot

Droomr

I play this game constantly and have bought a few character packs. Overall, it is a great game once you’ve figured out how things work, which for me required some reading on the web. However, on every device I use to play this, as well as my laptop, my processors run extremely hot for what appears to be relatively simple graphics and activities. It makes me wonder if the code isn’t extremely inefficient or something. Seems like they need their programmers to go back into the code and look for ways to make it far more efficient.

Getting worse...Avoid

I used to really enjoy ST Timelines... They used to update the game to make it more interesting, and seemed to work to make it balanced for lower investing players (you still couldn’t compete with whales but you could have fun). The focus is increasing on players who are willing to pay higher amounts. Many of the events (or sub-games) are basically pay to win. The newest announcement is that the next feature/sub-game “Campaigns” will cost an additional $9.99/month if you want the reward for it. You can play it and get a basic reward, or pay $10 and buy the big “reward”. They’re not even trying to put the effort into a game anymore, the sub-games are just “here, buy this thing”. I gave 2 stars as I really did get a lot of enjoyment from this in the past, and hope they return to their roots. I would not recommend this game to new players.

Good Star Trek game

This game is good and big on nostalgia. Some in game activities are repetitive, but most are not and you go between activities enough to stay interested. People complaining about not getting everything for free obviously don’t understand that things cost money. A game like this is constantly being further developed and require people working full time to do so. I wouldn’t walk into a Best Buy and complain that things aren’t free. That being said, if you want to be a free to play player, you can do well if you do things right.
