Doesn’t work

At these price points, I don’t think it’s too much to ask for the devices to work almost all the time. This needs attention.

I’ve been holding out upgrading to S2 because of the barrage of complaints and S1 was working fine . Well as of today, that’s not true either now. I get constant connect errors and it just won’t play my Apple Music. I put this Sonos system into my newly remodeled house end of 2019 . Now what, am I supposed to go buy all new equipment? It’s like I just set fire to thousands of dollars . Thanks Sonos

Speakers sounded great when you can get them to connect, but lately I have not been able to get them connected, seems all they want me to do is replace them, so why would I do that is the old speakers stopped connecting, I have and Sonos amp, Sonos booster, 2 speakers and the mini, the mini is the only one that will connect


Clunky, hard to use

Makes you click and scroll to access your own playlists, instead of putting them at top of screen. Doesn’t display long song names. Generally poor design, not user friendly


Sonos is using planned obsolescence to increase sales.

Sonos is messing up more functions on the S1. It’s not just a compatibility issue with their new products, features that worked fine for years are now unable to work. Large playlists from Prime music say music is not formatted correctly. It hasn’t changed. Other playlists with some of the same Songs still work, but the large one is dead. No matter where on the cue it starts. Sonos is using planned obsolescence to increase sales. Ones version 3 comes out you will see.

Sonos was amazing for years. They stopped supporting their own product in an effort to force loyal customers to buy new products. I don’t want new products and now if I’m forced to get new, it 100% won’t be sonos. What a disappointment. As another reviewer said- charge an annual maintenance fee if need be- but don’t obsolete perfectly good equipment.

SONOS System has been the absolute best all around audio system on the market. The various integration options offered are one of the best in the marketplace. Their tech support is supreme and extremely professional.


Inconsistent and unreliable

App disconnects a lot. Would rather connect through Spotify but the integration is horrible.

Upgrading caused my Sonos one to be unusable. All settings on the app were deleted, the Sonos because non-functioning, and I cannot rediscover this device. This all happened immediately after upgrading. No other changes were made and everything was working fine immediately prior to upgrading. The nail in the coffin of Sonos. Now that smart speakers are so prevalent absolutely no reason to continue to support this business that’s clearly incapable of creating software, thinking about ux, and/or ensuring reliability.
