I don’t think I was given a fair chance. I rode with a lot of people who drive stupid and it went on as a score of my driving. I could only dismiss the first one and none of the rest of them. Then it tells me I got a better deal with someone else. Guess I did. Thanks??

I was extremely happy with root as the quote they gave me was excellent compared to others. However, now that my six-month premium is due for renewal they increased my price for no reason. Keep in my mind I’ve had no accidents or traffic tickets. I don’t understand why when my previous insurance company would do the opposite and give me a discount for being a good driver. I’m not asking for a discount, but come on why jack up my price. They hooked me with a good price just so they could cash in with the renewal policy. Smh be careful guys.

I used to pay $135 per month to other insurance provider, but now my insurance is $91.50 per month. And I paid for 6months and saved additional $140. It’s a scam they promise you 25 to get a quote , you go through the 2 week process then they tell you sorry you can get a better deal elsewhere and don’t give you anything my score was a 8 out of 10 .

Safe Drives dont use root

I always drive carefully and haven’t had faults for years. As the customers like me, are contributing to the insurance companies. I got very good quotes from other insurance companies, but Root gives more than double. It’s so ridiculous, I wasted time to install this app and participate the program.

I had a perfect 10/10 driving score and my rate was $275/month. I pay 198 right now. All those ads that say I pay $65 a month with root are lies!!!!

I’ve never had such an easy experience with something like this - download the app and drive. If you’re good, you’ll save money like me. I totaled my vehicle in Maryland (a no fault state, so basically you’re at fault no matter what) about 2 years ago. Every insurance company gave me insane rates since then. Root saved me $140 a month.
