How can you possibly have an almost perfect score but this app wasn’t able to quote me anything? The entire time it was tracking me I stayed at a almost perfect score so how is it not able to give me a lower quote or just a quote period. This app waisted my time!!!!!

I was paying $95 a month on my geico insurance. After 3weeks of driving with root, i finally had a quote. With the same coverage, i could be paying $60. Thats a $30 savings. I modified my coverage to get the best that i could get and ended up to be $80 a month which is still $15 cheaper. I even paid it in bulk which made me save more and ended up paying $61 a month instead with twice as better coverage than geico. This is a no brainer.

I was paying outrageous amounts of money to my old insurance company even though I’m 26 have an impeccable driving record and have a commercial drivers license and now Root has saved me $260 a month and that’s amazing???

So I went from $200 a month with Progressive that started at like $138 and just kept going up and up for no reason that made sense to me really no accidents no tickets nothing. So I downloaded this app kind of forgot about it for a few weeks opened it up and I had a pretty good driving score so I tried to maintain it I ended with a score of 7 and I’m not paying $88 a month. Just sketched on if they will actually pay out if time comes. We will see. I was told by my insurance no other insurance company can cancel a policy so now I feel I mad the wrong choice and this is a scam.

Saved almost $50 a month

Saved over $680! NOT A SCAM

I did the test drive thinking, “what the heck? What’s the worst that could happen?” When I finished the test I was at a 10/10 and they offered me 137.98 per month OR gave me the option of doing $680 which saved another $143! I was originally playing over $1360 with USAA and had switched to State Farm because they dropped the 6 month premium to 980 which saved me almost 400, but Root is saving me a grand total of $680!!!! I can now use the money I would have paid towards insurance to pay off my car even faster! Thank you so much Root! I cannot wait to tell all my friends!!

It was a great experience to get the quote through test drive. Got it in three weeks. Saved almost 40%. This is very cool.

Really a waste of time .. I waited for 2-3weeks which seem like forever to not even get a quote.. only saying that I’m excellent but I’m better off going with another insurer .. if I did good why I didn’t get a quote:/

Even though I drove 9/10 score. It was 100$ more than my current insurance. It’s a scam and pay bots for their reviews.

So when I originally tried this app, I love the design and concept its great. However, unfortunately during my trial period I was on my way to Chicago (I was not the one driving 50% of my trial period). With no real way to shut off the tracking temporarily. I was on my phone most of the ride to and from Chicago, I didn't pass their test due to use of my phone during driving. There's not an option to retry the test and I think that's a little absurd given the situation. However I'm sure this is a great company and I recommend trying it out. I really just wish I could give the test another shot.
