Great tool for being home while you are away. I would love to have the ability to add just the small camera for inside the house surveillance. Something very small and discreet, wireless, and easy to access.

Having sound alert problems. When i put it on silent and try to get a sound back I can’t it wont switch. I have to delete it and reinstall my app. I learned this from the excellent customer service. I had this issue with getting audio alerts I called customer service we worked together we resolved the problem in 15 minutes this is an edit because in my previous review i was very upset that my sound had gone after working perfectly for a month. i tried fixing on my own with no luck. i call this am monday you see the results above thank you Ring cust service but not fixed this app needs fixing

Purchased the Ring and it worked great for almost a year and then it went black. After multiple attempts to re-activate nothing worked. Too much money for equipment that do not work. Customer Service told me to return it to Best Buy as you if they would take it back after then length of time in my position. Extremely disappointed to say the least.

The app itself is fine but I bought 2 video cams and the 2nd one has had to be charged twice now and I have had the sensor area turned off after the first time. I hate losing work to make calls and deal with getting it replaced. If I had to do it again I wouldn’t purchase the ring.

Love the Ring and the app. We do need the option of selecting if our assigned users can see the stored video or not. Everyone getting access is not always appropriate and in most cases the primary Ring owner pays for the storage so it shouldn’t automatically be provided to anyone they give Ring access to. The option to not provide the storage should be added. Thanks!

I thought this would be the security we needed. Not so much. You have to pay for recordings and when the doorbell rings, by the time it comes up on my phone, the person is gone. I’m seriously thinking of replacing it with something else.

It rings after someone is at the door not before and how does the camera work? Maybe you have to be a computer scientist to work it just not what i thought it to be

New Update is a Hot Mess

Updated this weekend and now I can’t get motion alerts, also can’t get live views to load. Ring 2 seems to be the problem. I’ve shut down the app and still no improvement. I hope a new update is coming soon.

Door bell sound no longer sound alerts

The camera quality is very poor during the day sunlight whites out the video , the door bell sound no longer works it keeps saying, unable to retrieve sound . For the high price of the ring products, I would have expected better camera quality with the ability to adjust to lighting, and fix the sound.

App used to work right now it’s terrible seems like with each update it gets worse also the Wi-Fi is ridiculous which I think is the problem mine gets a great signal and still cannot load a live view.. very sporadic.. sometimes it loads most the time it doesn’t.. yes my battery is fully charged..
