Please Fix Neighborhoods for iOS

Purchased two ring cameras last week. Camera features work fine but Neighborhoods section does not work. Seems to work fine on Android but not iOS. Fix ASAP!

Everything is great EXCEPT not being able to set how long a motion detection is recorded. We had a delivery driver back out of our driveway and hit our neighbors car but the actual impact was not recorded. This could be really bad if someome was breaking in and the recording just cut off.

Auto rotate support?

I would give 5 stars to the app if only it had auto rotation support. Most apps rotate when the phone is rotated. We fixed a small phone as control panel for the front door but the app does not rotate horizontally.

Two days ago I purchases a Ring Doorbell 2, a Spotlight Cam, and a Ring Chime Pro. They all integrate very well, connected easily to WiFi, and were simple to install. Overall, I am pleased with what I purchased, and I do plan on buying a few more products. However, I have high speed WiFi, and sometimes there are delays in how quickly the motion is detected with my wireless devices. At times the screen will freeze as well. One feature that I would REALLY like to see with the Ring app is the ability to switch between the different cameras during Live View. That would provide a greater and quicker sense of security to Ring product owners! Not to mention how awesome it would be! Im sure I will give updates as my Ring experience continues! Thank you!

Poor update took away primary benefit

Live video used to pop up upon motion detection and now only gives a notification. Why not give us the choice? By the time I get the notification and fire up the app to see what’s there they are already gone. Makes the devices useless

2-18-18 update doesn’t allow live view at all.

What a mess. Ring is a joke. They put out updates that aren’t reviewed or used. They mess up every other update. Go with Nest!

Easy Setup and Consistent Performance

Pleasantly surprised by how well thought out the entire Ring system is Setup. More than just a doorbell, obviously. Has been a major time savor with checking entry of our LA studio. Installation was much easier than thought. The included tools were a plus. Battery life is dramatically better than our last wireless doorbell and doesn’t require sep transmit and receiver batteries. Bought the extra chime and it too is a breeze to setup and configure. Overall, very pleased with the product and service.

Can’t view vids

Worked good for awhile then I stopped getting alerts. When into settings and changed to “permanent” notification banner and that seems to have solved it but when I click on any historical vids of motion or rings it just blinks to show that I pressed the button but nothing happens. Worked for the first couple of weeks. Just simply tapped and viola I could watch the motion. My father and my wife can view their vids but no explanation to why mine stopped working. This would be bad functionality even if this was an appliance like a blender or a tv but this is a security system. Unacceptable.

Why is there such a delay in time on the video? By the time your video starts the person who set off the motion detector has already come into the house there's no excuse for that kind of delay. Your app needs to make it much quicker to get to the video to see when someone rings your doorbell. I'm finding that by the time the video starts so I can see who's there and answer them they have already got impatient and left! It is absolutely ridiculous that you want to charge people to access their videos! You should have that posted on their packages so people will know after 30 days you're going to stick it to them! I think you make plenty of money on your product! Make your app storage free!!!!!!!!
