Ring

nazziet

Our camera is fine. Get alerted each time our door is approached, however, difficult to communicate with the people who do approach. Very poor quality of sound

Used to be good

TO'd

I pay a 100 bucks a year, which used to be free after purchase, not anymore. service has gone from 100 percent positive to 20 percent. Step it up ring before I cancel ?????

It never works. (My internet is sufficient)

Lou Mia 305

I have a ring doorbell because my door doesn’t have a peephole. My Ring doorbell never works. My family and I NEVER KNOW WHO IS KNOCKING ON MY DOOR. My internet works and has sufficient speed still nothing. I wrote to Ring through app and no answer.

Won’t connect

Notationz

I just installed my Ring doorbell pro yesterday and it was working fine! Now it won’t connect to the app! All last night and today I just get the little blue circle going around and around! It really irritates me when i spend $250 on a doorbell and the app won’t connect to the doorbell. It’s not a WiFi signal issue, our router is up front by the door! The doorbell product is great, but the app needs MAJOR improvement. I should’ve known and not bought the Ring due to the app. I usually read apps reviews before buying a product that needs an app to work bc 90% of the time the product is great but with poor app reviews! Hello Nest would’ve been better. Or Smart Home security.

Thought this would be a good idea so I bought four spotlight cams and four extra batteries charged all batteries installed two batteries in one cam and set it up per instructions everything ok until I try to view, the app keeps going to the set up app.

Does Ring app work in India?

S.245

Installed the app but it is not recognizing the home address in India.

Big blur

regretting buying it

About 1 out of 8 videos it captures is nothing but a bunch of vertical blurry stripes which means someone has come and gone but I’ll never know who it was. What good is a surveillance system if it’s in-dependable?

Slow

App is so slow it is almost pointless. Usually takes 30-60 seconds for the camera to show. Audio has a delay too making is basically useless.

Good app but could be much better

ERnoleGuy

The app is pretty good but it could be much better. A couple of things: -The Video Preview should open dependent on the orientation of your phone and auto-rotate to fit your screen orientation. -There needs to be more “Snooze” options such as different time lengths, custom amount of time, and even something like “alert only during time A to time B”. Seems like an easy update to the app right? -Pricing Structure: Ring+ Monitoring should be $3/one device, $5-6/two devices, then like $10/unlimited devices. If you only have two devices why does it jump all the way up to $10!? No other products/services follow such drastic pricing schedules.

Good design, terrible performance!

lourapalmr

Good design only goes so far. The performance is so bad it’s laughable. I have had my replacement unit up for 5 days, the battery is dead. There were 68 motion/live views not the 200 the person on chat just tried to pass on me. It took 4 months to get this replacement after all the nonsense they tried with my original. Done with this device and their poor service. Advice don’t get any of the battery operated ones go for hardwired if you can I think that would have been better but in a vintage home I had no option for that.
