Garbage

Fritzedup

Fix your app Nissan. Went through the whole sign up process and you crashed. Unexpected error. Understand that entering a VIN isn’t fun on a phone. There is a Bar code...it’s 2018, have a scan option.

too slow

asdfghjkl1234567890555

refreshing to get the latest information is taken minutes and sometimes not working. I won’t if the request is sending to the satellite and then back down to the car. No way to stop charging. have to unclock and remove connector while it’s still charging.

Does not work

Techie Wreckie

All I need to know is how much my vehicle has charged and it does not show that. Just shows updating status and then request times out. Useless

Bad App

AnotherPlayerReview

Also, the “good” review on display in the App Store is 6 years old. SIX YEARS!

Everything takes too long

eJed55

It takes minutes to open the app in order to show you days old charge status then you hit refresh and it either doesn’t work or takes three to four minutes to get info back.

Seriously

Mikeshomes

I’m so disappointed nice app when it works 99 percent of the tome it won’t connect Nissan can’t fix it! Seriously of all things Nissan Connect must work to make this Leaf worth owning. So DISAPPOINTING please Nissan fix this Application! for this app to have a 1 star rating is a sad statement for you to make about your remote capability with today’s electric car movement. If I had known this issue existed I would of made another choice in purchasing an electric car. Oh yes been at Nissan dealer for day they finally replace 3g receiver worked for 4 days now back to the same old stuff NO CONNECT.....

Meh, but even better if it actually worked

SalisburySam

Downloaded this new version, successfully signed in, tried to update to vehicle, but never connected. Tried multiple times, deleted and reinstalled, still no connection. Sadly over the 6+ years I’ve had my LEAF with first CARWINGS and now this app, connecting to the car has actually gotten much worse over time. Why is this too hard for Nissan when other mfrs can succeed?

Not compatible with iPhone 7!

maxps4

According to Nissan, you should not update the app if you have an iPhone 7 as it is NOT compatible and has not been tested with that phone. I spent the last couple weeks trying to log in and use the Nissan EV app since the big update with no luck. Nissan got back to me and stated that the app does not work with the iPhone 7. Apple should block the update from being available to iPhone 7’s or require testing before they advertise compatibility. I wish I had a way to downgrade the app. Logging in through the web site still works.

Crap App

2018 Leaf review

Larylicious

So, this app didn’t work for the first few days... The Techs at the Nissan dealership had no clue why. I logged into the website... But it would not sync. I logged into this app, and only the “find my vehicle” worked. Sooo, I called the Nissan Connect (855-426-6628). Friendly tech answered and didn’t know why the app or website didn’t work. He could “see” my Leaf. They Tech will need you to go into the Leaf settings to get the unit ID, the SIM #, some other # and the VIN #. They will then ask you to refresh the “nearest” charging stations... After all that (5min), he escalated this to the Engineering team and they were able to remotely reset the electronics (~3hrs) in the car. All is working now!!!! Not the greatest app, but it is now functional, albeit slow!!! For 2017’s and earlier... the process is a lot different!!! You need to get your username/password (from the Nissan Owners Portal)... 2018’s do NOT use a Uname/pass.
