One glaring flaw

dayvo3

Downloaded version 6.0.4 this morning. The new user interface is very nice. No new core functionality, but the existing functions are nicely arranged and easily accessed. One glaring error is apparent. The state of charge ring in the main graphic is off by 10 percentage points for my 2013 Leaf. At 100% charge the app displays 110%; at 80% the app shows 90%. Inclusion of the ring is a nice touch, but please address its accuracy. The app doesn’t seem faster than previous versions, but that’s probably a result of latency in the system the app relies on for vehicle communication.

Should Have Expected This Level of Quality from Nissan

AnotherPlayerReview

This app is embarrassingly bad from the start. Click in the name text field for setting up an account, and the keyboard open pushing the text field right off the screen. There’s no auto-complete, which apple does for you. There’s no option to take a picture of your vin instead of typing it, which there are open source projects for right now. Then, once you’ve managed to enter all this, once you agree to the terms and conditions, it fails and takes you back to the main menu; at which point, nothing is filled out or auto-fills. I’ve tried to fill this out twice, and received the same generic error twice. It’s clear to me that this app was never properly tested before being released. I like my car, but every interaction I’ve had with anything Nissan has been awful. I will NEVER get another Nissan product again. Saving a little money isn’t worth the constant disappointment.

Not working at all

WILCOroger

While the last version kinda worked sometimes, this update has left this app useless. Does not work at all. Progress circle spins and spins then stops and nothing has been done or updated. At least the last crappy version worked. Just took in forever.

Doesn’t work

D15589

The new version insists that I enter ‘a valid email address’ as my User ID, but my User ID isn’t an email address, but a name. Every time Nissan ‘improves’ their app I spend weeks of frustration trying to get it to work. Love the car, absolutely despise the company.

Worthless

988405

I thought the old app was bad - this is worse. If I produced a product this bad I would be unemployed. Encourages me to look at a Chevy for my next EV instead of Nissan, especially if I want the same app access an ICE vehicle would have. Connectivity - updated twice and now will do nothing. Closed app, reset, signed out and in and still nothing.

Can't login after upgrade

弯曲

Once it's upgraded, I can't login. The same username password worked before and still works on PC owners portal. But app doesn't login.

Does not connect to my car

HooKooEKoo

I have had this app for one day and tried to get my battery status numerous times but I get a message that it doesn't connect to my car even when I am sitting in the car.

So they could make it worse

cadmium catastrophe

Didn’t know they could make the app worse but they succeeded with this update. The remote access no longer works even though it tries to send the request. The interface is prettier but even worse to navigate that before and it’s missing several options.

Good Improvement... Still slow

OnTheHunt4 NewTech

My login credentials were not saved when I updated the mobile app. I had it saved in the previous app, and it took some time for me to remember the user name and passwords. It also jumped from version 4 to version 6.0.3 and then version 6.0.4 over night. It still is super slow, but the new UI is nice. If this if signs of things to come, I’m pretty excited. Not too bad Nissan.

Same old bad

Cessna150J

This is the same app with a fresh face. Fails to connect, same limited features, and same silence from Nissan to address the fact that their app is horrible. Great car but unacceptable fail on their smart features. I’ll be looking for a different EV in the future Nissan.
