I’ve a a couple of issues but overall I am pleased with Neat and how I can organize my receipts and file them. Easy to find a receipt that is years old if you take the time to file properly.

I downloaded this app and I can’t even sign in with my neat receipts account or my HP Connected account. Once I type in all my info the app brings me back to the sign in page.

When I first got the Neat system I loved the promise it had a d put up with the crappy software and app. But they never seem able to keep up. The Neat app worked about half the time and always seems to get updated well after iOS updates. Now with my iPhone X the camera doesn’t work at all. The new desk top software on Mac is junk and that’s after the quietly stopped supporting the previous version. There are other options out there and I recommend you look to them if you want a stable and updated system.

This app is clunky and many times does not work. It jams when you take a picture of a receipt and it never uploads. You then have to delete the app and reinstall it. Please fix your software. Also you should be able to fix a receipt vendor to a receipt category all the time. For instance if I eat at McDonalds it should always default to the restaurant category going forward.

I can not get the scan to open says go to Neat.com. I did, found nothing to make it work. Yes I have an account and am using it! I’d pay for the use!! Crazy

I loved this system at first, but the company has slowly stopped supporting their software and it’s nearly impossible to use. It’s very disappointing because their scanners aren’t the best, but you bought them because they’re software was so great, now neither are worth the money. Get a Fujitsu and use Google Drive or some other online system.

I have been using neat for about 10 year. It always had a very poor 3d party customer support, but I was able to manage our relationship somehow. My major issue was that while I used the application I accumulated too much tax related documents. With exclusive cloud application there is no way to keep the organized back up on your hard drive. Neat says that all the documents remain on your hard drive, but they cheat. The documents and recipes are not organized without the software. Therefore if you start using neat cloud you become their slave. This is the reason that I have decided to quite Neat after 10 years of relationship. Also, just couldn’t tolerate their poor 3d party customer support any more. They have been trying to fix my issue with sync for 3!!!! Days!!! I mean I couldn’t work on my computer for 3!!! Days!!! Watching them fixing the issue. And suddenly the person working on the issue could be pulled way for several hours. No! don’t need this soft and this service !!! The idea was great however

The mobile app will not always remain synced with the "cloud". The mobile app collects garbage versions of receipts as you move them on the cloud side. End up having to periodically delete the app and reinstall in order to clean up the local mobile contents. Overall my experience with neat is no longer positive. The cloud software in its current version is not nearly as functional as the original desktop offering. Now that they no longer make dedicated scanners and force you to pay an annual fee to access your data with no method to export easily. You are locked into the relationship to access you paperless records.
