Great app but...

Just downloaded app for brand new LiftMaster garage door opener. The app worked great for a couple of times and then I proceeded to proudly show my wife how great it worked but unfortunately the app would crash as soon as it opened. As any other reasonable user, proceeded to close all other apps and even restart my iPhone X to see if that solved the issue but unfortunately it did not. Then I proceeded to uninstall and reinstall the app, that allowed the app to work again until I closed it. Once I closed it, it would crash every time I tried to reopen it. I think the intention and the design of the app is good but unfortunately I wasn’t given a chance to try it further as it continued to crash, hence the reason of only 3 stars in my review. Hopefully this bug could eventually get fixed by the developer, in the meanwhile I will integrate my garage door openers with Wink. That seems to be working just fine
Do not enable Face ID unlock!

I kept having to re download this app because it would work when I first set it up but then when I would force close it and attempt to open it, it would act like it was going to open then shut down. I tried updating to the current iOS but it still did the same thing. Finally, I deleted and redownloaded it and while setting it up, when it asked if I wanted to enable Face ID to unlock, I said No. Now it will open even after force closing it. App needs work!

The app continually crashes and won’t even open. Deleted, reinstated and works once or twice then starts crashing every time I re open app. Deleted and reinstalled several times with same result every time.

Just purchased the myQ internet gateway. No issues if I connect via the Internet, but this app needs work! App keeps crashing. Wont even open. I have deleted and reinstalled the app 5 times.

Reinstalled, works for a couple bourse then same crashes. Same with the other version of the app.

My only issue is I can’t use voice commands to tell Siri to open and close. Need to add another piece of tech. I will get around to fixing that later. Not worth deducting a star.
Great app, crashes, HomeKit?

Great app, was easy to set up but it crashes if you try to use Face ID. Also this app asks for HomeKit but doesn’t let you open the garage with Siri, doesn’t make sense. I think a piece is required but the instructions are poor on this.

Before the previous update, the entire homepage was filled with the garage door icon. All that was required was to tap the icon to either open or close. Now there's a small icon in the upper left-hand corner of the page which has to be opened, then tapped again to activate. This is very frustrating, hard to use, and dangerous when driving up to the house and wanting to simply open your garage door. Please change this back to the way it was!!
