Old version worked new not so much

The older version of this app worked great, the new version is very spotty and works maybe half the time. GMC please fix this issue.

I had the old app since buying my 2015 Sierra brand new. Worked 98% of the time without issues. After the 5 year term, I didn’t want to pay the monthly subscription, so I went without for about a year. Decided I wanted remote access via the app again, so I signed up yesterday Jan 12, 2022. This new app is incredibly slow. Crashes constantly. Will not remember any settings I set for Face ID log in, and “remember me”. Worst part: I cannot get this app to communicate to my truck to start it, flash the lights, unlock and lock my doors. NOTHING works. I deleted and reinstalled the app. It will provide information about my truck accurately, such as tire pressure, any fiat arming lights (there are none). So I know the servers are communicating with each other, between the app and my truck.

I’ll start by saying it works overall. But it isn’t very user friendly. I can’t see if my doors are locked or if my engine is running. There was an update that says you can see the status but you can’t. I can’t control my climate control like our other vehicle that is a different make than GMC. I should be able to control if I want warm or cold and my heated and cooled seats like I can in our other vehicle. I will change my review if they ever update it. Until then I will only purchase this during our winters so I can’t try and get my truck warm. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.

This app is nice when it works. Every time there is an update for it, it messes up after. The current update gives me issues with logging on then after I do, it won’t start my truck.
Rarely logs on

Just recent bought a new vehicle and have the app connected. About 50% of the time it doesn’t log on and just “sits there and spins.” Even when it does log on it has never updated fully. Pretty pointless at this point.

Takes forever for app to open and usually doesn’t work. Hold the start button and then the button goes blank and nothing happens. Only way I get it to work now is from outside the app, if you hold the app down and click start from the drop down menu.

Unable to verify account details. Every time I try to login. Have tied deleting and reinstalling, rebooting phone, and setting up new account. This app does not work.
