iPhone Support

TivoLife

Needs IPhone X support. Get one more star if you can give me IPhone X support with Face ID. A lot of the features GM is charging for are free with BMW for 4 years. What gives GM. My two Teslas comes with free slacker streaming and LTE for 4 years why not my truck of almost equivalent price?

Not Useful

Phinney5350

Everything that is useful has a price to it. Your best bet is after 3 months...remove the app, unless you want to spend money at ridiculous prices.

No Key Fob

Nbbbb30

I no longer have the key fob ability in the app to lock/unlock or remote start. That was the main reason I had the app. Guess I no longer need this

Here are a few things to consider as you at GM talk about customer satisfaction. 1. My 2104 Silverado driver seat would move sideways and click when I made a turn. In was very noticeable and annoying. The dealer tried to fix the problem with no success. The service manager said after contacting GM there was no fix for the problem. I demanded the seat be replaced. You would not do it and the dealer also refused to bear the cost ad there were several trucks with the same issue. 2. So I bought a new truck, a 2017 Sierra. That fixed the seat problem now I have a transmission that had a very hard and abrupt shift from first to second gear. Very noticeable and jerky on start to drive and coming to stops. Guess what, after two trips to different dealers, GM doesn’t have a fix for that either. 3. With this in mind, what should I try next. Ford, dodge or Toyota for a pickup truck.

In app ads, really?

NoAlertforMe

The recent addition of ads in your app, after I paid for the app, you have to buy a GM vehicle to use the app, so I concluded the app as part of the vehicle purchase. Otherwise it is a useful app.

I have no complaints about the mobile app, but the app on the Apple Watch has successfully started my truck maybe 2 or 3 out of 10 attempts. No good in freezing weather. Would be great to start my truck up without having to use my phone or when I’m out of range with my keys.

WAS an awesome app!

gfyogamom

I LOVED this app, until it updated and took away all the features I use... Those features may still be there, BUT since the app refuses to identify my OnStar account (which I have confirmed is current with OnStar), I can no longer use them. So, I cannot remote lock/unlock or start my car, check diagnostics, send addresses to my navigation, etc. All these functions are the purpose of this app for me, personally. I am very disappointed.

MyGMC app is worthless

jascag

The app doesn’t offer anything other than Parked Location. The Key Fob feature is no longer available. You cannot remotely lock or start engine using the app.

Worked for a month

ReviewCricket

Purchased a new vehicle in early January and the app worked for a month. A February update killed functionality and now all it does is say ‘Updating’ until it eventually times out. I’ve tried deleting the app, using it on WiFi at home, and running the most updated iPhone firmware. Nothing fixes the problem.

App doesn’t work!

Won’t let you log on... when it finally does it says “not connected to Internet! What a waste!
