Update destroyed this app

The Metro app used to be pretty easy to use and reliable until the big overhaul at the beginning of the winter. The app now constantly times out and gives network errors when I try to login regardless if I’m on WiFi or LTE. The interface is also really dated, it reminds me of early websites from the 90s and 2000s. I miss the older app as I could accomplish mobile banking within minutes, hopefully they revise in the future.

The upgrade is actually a downgrade. - Face ID : doesn’t work. I have to go into self serve to enable it at least once a week. -Bill Pay: is gone. When I click on enroll, I receive an error message that bill pay is not available and try again later. I’ve called customer support 3 times and sent 3 messages through website. No one can figure out how to fix it. Now I have to contact my billers directly to make monthly to make payments. I think it’s time to switch to a new credit union!!


The update is horrible

I loved the app before the update. Since the update I can never access my account. I was forced to call in to obtain my account balances. Please fix this issue.

The old app was much better. My Face ID was working but now I have to go register to re-enable it after an upgrade? Can’t deposit a check via the app because when I click on “Deposit a Check” it just brings me to an error screen that says “please sign and write for mobile deposit on the back of the check” in red letters. Ps. When you click on “App Support” it just takes you to a “page not found” on your site.

Since the update the app is unusable. The fact I have to enter my password every... single...time is ridiculous! The fact that looking at my money is so hard has forced me to use another bank for everything other than my direct deposit. God forbid you close app because then you have to open it. Enter your password. Get told your session has expired. Then rinse and repeat until the app FEELS like working. Worse decision they have made. Should ask for their money back from whomever oked this change and whomever actually made the app. Advice from a nobody is, if it isn’t broke don’t fix it.

There is nothing more annoying than not being able to access your account because it app says your username and password is wrong WHEN ITS CORRECT! I hate going to the branch because it’s always full so I do all of my banking online. I hate calling because the wait time is so long. Now all three is not quickly accessible? FIX THE APP!!

The new update makes me confirm log in by a text message every time. This is making me consider switching banks. The old app was much better and simpler.


Where is Face ID?????

Why do you not have Face ID when the previous app had it? The UI is horrible, I don’t even know why you guys went though with the rollout of such a trash app. I’m switching banks because I hate this app so much.


Can’t deposit checks

The mobile deposit button leads to a blank screen. That’s pretty much the main reason I use the app. It used to be a perfectly fine app until this redesign and since then it’s been nothing but issues.
