1 star is generous. the app is terrible, but the website is also terrible. considering switching banks because i can never log in to see my account.

The app has not been working well with Touch ID feature for months. Today I see an update, including Touch ID and logging issues.. I’m still having the same problem as before, I log in manually.. successfully.. then setup Touch ID.. when I close the app and return, I have to type my password again.. like I didn’t just turn on TOUCH ID.. I get an error msg saying the app was unable to validate my info.. so Manually again I enter my credentials log in.. setup Touch ID, close application.. and as expected the same msg.. over and over for months.. it’s seem if I want to enjoy the Touch ID feature I bought this iPhone for, I will have to choose another financial institution. It’s been long enough, I wrote my last review on November 2016 and a year later I’m still experiencing the very same issues the app has from day one. Every card I have works with Touch ID and Apple Pay Flawlessly for over a year, but metro doesn’t seem to want to stay relevant to millennials. Hopefully this will be fixed for good this year, if not I will surely leave.. Capital One, TD Bank, Bank of America Cambridge Savings Bank and many others have had stable versions that allow Touch ID and Apple Pay without the hassle of reconfiguring so often.. I’m very disappointed in the length of time this issue has persisted. Hope to see a fix soon, not like the most recent update which still doesn’t work. ~Best regards

I have the new iPhone 8 and Touch ID doesn’t work. Even after logging in, the next time I open the app the Touch ID login protocol doesn’t pop up

App seems to be having connection problems after applying update. In a loop of “make sure network is available” message when on Wi-Fi or LTE when Wi-Fi is shut off. App was working fine before update. Other network based apps appear to be OK. Reinstalling app and will test again.
