My god, can it possibly get any worse?

Loved metro, actually recommended it to many people. Hopefully they didn’t listen. I’ve never seen a collapse of a business I respected happen so quickly. Tried to get a car loan and was jerked around for a full 2 weeks (not credit related, but their absolute ineptitude) and now the app. The wonderful new app to make banking “great” again. The app looks like a high school programmer designed it in 2005. HORRIBLE. If you get by the clunky interface, be prepared to reenter your now 12 symbol, character, numerical, password at least once a week because the app losses facial recognition on a regular basis. RUN AWAY FROM THIS BANK.

The old app was fine. The new one is psychotic garbage. Logging is a pain (regularly get “your session has expired” message immediately after signing in), seems like no UI/UX considerations were made at all, way too much going on, nothing is intuitive, etc. Please just bring back the old app. It was fine. Why did you do this???

Feels like a web browser that’s incompatible on an iPhone. Weird update choice. Also, crashes every time you open up the app if you haven’t clicked log out upon exiting the time before. This seems like an easy fix but has been going on for months. Needs addl updates to fix this app ASAP. Bank is awesome outside of this deeply terrible app interface.

This app is garbage now.Why such a major change? I really loved the old app now it’s like being on a web browser. It’s always crashing or not letting me sign in.

This new app is not user friendly at all! Logging in is a nightmare and it doesn’t perform the facial recognition option for easy sign-in. The previous app was super user friendly. The only positive outcome from the new app is that you can link your accounts, otherwise, I hate it!

I’ve had my car loan through here for almost 10 months now, can’t even use the app for it, always have to do one time guest payments in safari. Idk how a well established company don’t have anything simple.

I constantly sign in (I set up the Face ID but it doesn’t work at all) only to have the app tell me that my log-in session has timed out. What? The only way I can see my account now is to log into a computer. What happened? (I’ve removed and readied the app twice). This is just NOT GOOD!

The most recent app update is not as good as the one prior. Can’t use my facial recognition for some reason and it sends me a 4 digit code each time to log in. This new update is not nearly as mobile device friendly as the previous one.

Last app before this new major update was actually an app... like any other banking app out there - except Wells Fargo, their’s is trash too. This new major update made this “app” look like it’s running a mobile version of the web browser. I thought it would have been restored to a good UI by now. A few months ago when this rolled out, I called in because my sign-in wasn’t working, it was because the company was moving its data to a new platform and basically re-architecting a new one... and that’s why I had some trouble logging in. Anyway, if this is true, I assumed their nice UI from before would be back, but here we are. This UI is ugly bro. Y’all need some UI/UX front end developers to bring this app back to 2020 standards.

Mobile Deposit Broken

Never had an issue with this app until the major update. I can’t use Mobile deposit. I click on the Icon and I just get a blank screen.
