I’m giving Mercari a poor star rating because a few times I brought items on this App and never received it neither my money back I called the post office and text the shipper and I did not receive any good response about the item I paid for or my money a total lost BUT SOME TIMES MY PACKAGE ARRIVE TO ME WHEN I SIT OUTSIDE IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING AND WAIT FOR DELIVERY

1. Clicking the home button when already on the home page is how I refresh the page. It no longer refreshes, I have to drag the page down to refresh. 2. The ship local doesn’t save your address. I click my address to set location and it just takes me back to the page telling me to set my address. Other issues from before: 3. When looking at an item that is discounted, you can’t see the original price. You can only see original price, discount price, and the discount % when in your likes. 4. Search needs improvements. There should be a way to search your own likes or someone’s store. 5. When scrolling through your likes, you shouldn’t be able to unlike an item so easily. I’ve accidentally unliked things and I can’t get them back. 6. Let us delete items from recently viewed. 7. Let us customize the For You section. I don’t want to see items from saved searches, just items from sellers I’m following. 8. When there is a change (ie. price drop) to a like, there is a dot on the Likes icon on the bottom and the My Likes at the top. However once you click the my likes there’s no indicator for which like(s) has been updated. 9. Let us sort our likes or “star” certain one we want to keep a closer eye on. 10. Notifications should be separated. A separate tab should be for purchases and one for updates on likes. (I’ve not sold anything yet so I don’t know about those notifications.) Also let us delete notifications.

The shipping was horrible. Their were big holes and little holes in the package. The package was crushed. I tried and tried to contact you but was unable. I tried to get on shipping protection, it wouldn’t help. The help center is a joke. When you problem is not on the list, there’s nothing you can do. Word of mouth. I’m do upset. I do not believe it was the seller’s fault. I believe it was UPS workers. Some handle things properly and some do not. My grandchild is in a bad way. His daddy is sick. He doesn’t understand. The doctors gave his dad 5 years or less to live. I just wanted to buy something to put a smile on his little face. Somehow he found the Barbie Dreamhouse 2013 and I bought it. Shawn, I’m sure didn’t send it like this. You need to list a chat and when that doesn’t help they give you to a real person to talk too. I’m not happy with Mercari. You say the buyer is protected with the shipping people, but if we can’t get through to you; how can you tote them us. I just lost a lot of money because of you. Why would you treat people like you do? I bet I don’t get an email or phone call from you. Sunny, has a Barbie Dreamhouse. I am telling her what you people DID NOT DO for customers. It’s very sad.

This app makes it impossible to get help with an issue, there is no phone number to call for customer service. It’s infuriating and needs to be fixed before this is an app worth using.


Seller Point of View: Unfair Ratings

Items do sell faster than in any other apps I sell in. Also one of my favorite places to shop. But the fact that you can’t see a customers rating before you rate them is unfair. I always tend to give a five star rating regardless if they contact me or not. ( Because it is the only way I get payed) Though sometimes they take advantage of this situation by giving unfair reviews. Other sellers should be able to trust their customers too. How are we supposed to trust the person we are selling to? They can be going around giving everyone bad reviews , claiming item is damaged just because we didn’t sell it for cheaper. Would be nice to also to be able get picture proof of damaged items.

Everything was great! Packaging, description, item was exactly as described. When I asked a question it was answered. If she didn’t know she said that, instead of BSing her way through; I throughly pleased with the item, which I have been on a witch hunt for 15 years. Overall…. Pleased as punch! Hats off to the SELLER!


Great app but…

The only issue I have been having is trying to write a personal message in rating the people I have purchased from. It could be a me, or my phone, thing, but it has annoyed me enough to not give the 5 star rating
