Mercari has the absolute worst customer service. I’ve contacted them dozens of times about a lost item and they refuse to refund me. Stay far away!! Use another platform.

I wanted to see how the app worked , so I put up a candle Aubra for sale wrapped it really well and shipped it when it was bought. Then the app set it arrive damage and then they just completely canceled it and I was never paid for my item. I would’ve appreciated the item being sent back to me if it came back broken. So I pretty much got an item stolen from me that I wish I never put on the app

I have been selling for over a year and this year I need to do taxes they do not send out a coherent report I have contacted them various times about this issues and have yet to have it resolved after about 3 days of emailing each day. I am seriously thinking of not selling through this platform such a shame when they charge so much for selling and processing payments just horrible

I’ve gotten brand new unopened items here. I do wish they would respond faster via Customer Service. I think Mercari should add a live chat feature when people are having trouble contacting buyers or sellers.
