GREEDY GREEDY APP - not for sellers!

I hate this app. It is not for sellers. FB marketplace and EBay are infinitely better. Sold item for $9. Because you can’t set a shipping price I offered free shipping which cost $15 due to my seller’s location. Just great, so already at a $6 loss. Add on seller/transaction fees from Mercari and I’m down another $2. Then because my sale is under $10, they charge me another $2 to release my money to me. WOW. YOU ARE ABSOLUTE CROOKS.

I’ve bought and sold on the platform. I've had better experience buying from the app. I think they take too much of a percentage from sales. You’re better off finding a better platform. Like Facebook market place.

Great app to buy/sell some accessories, electronics, games, clothes, etc. I have had no problems with anything I've purchased and often times I do not check this app to time to find a good buy. It's also a good Avenue to sell some second hand items you not be using anymore.

As a frequent user, I am considering to delete my account. My experience; It is designed for sellers. Buyers are not welcome.
Why don’t the sellers get provided protection????

This app was a good app at first however I have sent out over $1500 in items and the so-called buyer got the items and then a return and in that case they didn’t have to pay us back my one I sent a lady 15 pounds of Jewelry she sent me 2 pounds back I provided a video to Mercari of me opening the package getting it and everything and they still approved her return how is that when I sent 15 poundsAnd received 2 pounds back that right there should’ve automatically approved the payment to get released to me another incident we sent out two of my wife’s gold bangles for $400 we was already given them a deal it said delivered the lady said that they were scratched And she was returning them however they never got returned no shipping updated or anything after the delivery I contacted Mercari they couldn’t do anything about it I contacted the postal department they couldn’t do anything about it so when do the sellers get provided with protection from these fraud buyers that just purchased items to steal. We work very hard to get through the corona epidemic and struggle to make ends meet and still no matter what go out of our way and offer deals to people and we continue to get s**tOn from theives and to top it off mercariDoes not have a customer service team that you can call and talk to you got a call and leave a message and just hope that they respond back to you which 80% of the time they will not and I don’t understand how I have straight evidence from videos to pictures to even tracking and they still approve the persons return. It just baffles me I would rather donate my items and my business go broke rather than supply cons with anything.
