You say you have our back but not true!

When a rider’s location says “city, state” and they are actually at Lowe’s after work. She says she uses Lyft regularly and I had to drive several more miles to get to her and she was angry with me when I arrived! There are totally wrong address locations and terrible integration with 3rd parties like insurance and gogo grandparent. When a driver is having totally bad reviews all of a sudden, could it possibly be the fault of the app and not the driver? Lyft should personally reach out to drivers and see what is going on especially if the driver has been platinum and 5.0 for over 3500 rides!

Extra charges

the king i am

Lyft needs to start charging riders when they add stops and take more than 5 minutes to return to the vehicle as well as charging for distance to pickup location. There should also be a cancellation fee once the driver gets close to the pickup location.

Lyft lied to drive

SaidZazai

I am receiving text msg from lyft to complete three consecutive rides from 07:00pm to 08:00pm but today what happened is third time and is really disappointing. Lyft gave me two rides and I completed them with no delay but third pick up i got was 14 min away and when I picked the rider it was 08:02pm. Up on completion of third ride i got nothing from Lyft and stating that I didn’t gave three rides till 08:00pm which was not my fault but lyft intentionally gave me a long pick up so that I don’t eligible for $15.

Account hacked

My driver account was hacked/phished in March 2020. I have emailed Lyft over twenty times with no response. Lyft owes me over $300. I also want my account reactivated!!

App Discriminates: Pro-Rater; Drivers Have No Rights

Chanda Marie

Driver are not able to exercise their right to verify riders, but riders have the right to verify. And, when the driver exercises his/her right to not allow a rider into the vehicle or have to cancel because you are not able to exercise your right the verify for safety per the User Terms/ Agreement, the App punishes you by reducing your acceptance rate. That’s right because there is a defective account (Rider) without a photo to verify, the driver is the only party impacted. The App sets up illegal accounts: UNDERAGE RIDERS. The driver doesn’t know until the rider tells the drivers during the ride while talking.. The App Should be able to filter this.

Lyft Driver App

Raislek

Would give it a 5 star if it would be able to work with car play / sync 3. It is handy to push the directions to google maps which does work with car play. They talk about safety. But we still have to look at our phones while driving. Would be safer if the app would work on the vehicles info center.

I love driving for Lyft make all the money you need it goes directly to my account or your Lyft card. But today they really made me very upset Lyft suspended my account because the said health safety issues. Lyft no me I’m a professional keep mask on car clean and smells amazing each time a new ride comes in my car.

Dangerous Driving Conditions

In transit from one Lyft ride to picking up another during a heavy snowstorm I got stuck in some high snow. It’s been 14 hours since I submitted the help ticket for roadside assistance. Haven’t heard from Lyft yet. 0 degree weather too so LYFT LIVES DON’T MATTER it would seem. Would have been some canned response anyways.

Don’t waste your time

Bad customer service /no destination shown / super far pick ups/ $2.68 per ride for short rides and Lyft gets the same as you .

Lyft does not care about the livelihoods of drivers

As of 1/28/2021 I've heard Lyft is deactivating many veteran drivers, according to posts on social media and YouTube. I have been driving for Lyft for 1.9 years with a 5.0-star rating. I have never received any negative feedback from my fabulous passengers who graciously tip most of the time. I have tons of “Good Driving” and other compliments from previous riders. Lyft ran a routine background check after one morning trip where I dropped off my passenger at the Amtrak Train Station. I received an email that the background check was complete, and I received a copy of the report. Everything was all clear and green in color, which is good. The email stated “Sit tight and we hope to have you back on the road soon.” I later checked my driver app and it stated that I have been deactivated. I have done nothing wrong and follow all the rules, including the Lyft Community Guidelines. I have completed all required Lyft training as well. Now there are zero Lyft drivers on the map when looking for a ride in my immediate area, central California. When I contacted Lyft to find out why all I would receive is an automated response from a bot that said they couldn't verify my information from when I signed up for Lyft. That was 1.9 years ago, and nothing has changed. It's incredible how a company can just click a button on a mouse and stop a person's income in an instant with no warning. I apologize to all my passengers looking for that Lyft scheduled ride to the airport that I do so frequently.
