Worst of the worst

Lyft is one of the worst Apps you’ll ever find. They send you far away ride requests, they harass you with mean texts when you ignore or cancel just a few rides, they don’t care about the driver whatsoever. The cancellation fee used to be $5 when the rider doesn’t show up now it was reduced to a couple of dollars, what a shame. Lyft is greedy at least UBER is way better since they show you the rider destination and the amount you gonna make. The lyft customer service is horrible. Lyft doesn’t deserve a single star they just don’t care about the driver, what a shame?

don't be fooled this one. company only ends with your car and. he squeezes you to the maximum he keeps most of your money and there is no benefit, no car wash, no mechanic service. and. waiting for travel. is greater than. 13 minute wait so long for a 5 dollar trip. and around 7 miles traveled from the starting point until the end of the trip. don't spend a lot of time giving away your money and your time I've spent 12 hours driving. to win $ 150 dollars is a misery It is a robbery they pay you for one passenger and two or three get on, they charge the 3 passengers but they pay you only one. No confíen en esta compañía sólo terminan con tu carro Con demasiadas millas se quedan con la mayor parte de tu dinero te pagan la mitad y ellos la otra mitad no hay beneficios no descuentos de mantenimiento es falso no car wash no reparaciones mecánicas y la espera de tiempo para 1 viaje es de más de 13 minutos y aveces solo para recibirán viaje de 5 dólares Y aveces se suben 2 o 3 pasajeros te pagan 1 ellos salen ganando esta compañía roba demasiado eh manejado 12 horas para ganar solo 150 dólares. Mi tiempo bale más que eso

Your not really a contractor. They try and force you do what’s best for them not the driver. The will threaten to deactivate for declining rides when the driver has ever right to do that. They hide information constantly, trip info, rider info, payout info. The got rid of primetime so you don’t get bonuses anymore. They will basically squeeze you for everything they can and give you the crumbs. Drive Uber if your gonna do rideshare

The pay is insulting at best, no one tips anymore (worthless low class people), everyone is dirty/smelly and don’t want them touching my car, the app is AWFUL, gps NEVER worked right, so dear lyft I QUIT! And YOU are fired af! #deactivatedlifer. Have fun making s@@@ pay while ruining your vehicle. Yeah no thanks. I’d eat crow for money before driving losers around to barely break even and all while risking my life. Just remember anyone can have a gun, you’ll never know till it’s too late. Stay strapped yourselves Lyft drivers, ignore their rules and protect your personal rights and safety.

The app itself is ok, but every time a rider do something off, or the app log you out is pretty much on you... i have 5 starts and every time i have any issues or concerns the customer service is no helpful... explain the same thing i already knew and don't provide any support or help.. ??? Why you all there????... i have 2 experiences with 2 riders that brake the rules and 0 support whatsoever... another occasion one rider pretty much didn’t pay for the ride because it cancel in the middle and refuse to leave... lyft didn’t help or penalized the rider ? as an app is easy to make money and work but customer service is the worse i ever experience and i do al the platforms from amazon-uber-doordash- etc ... a lot to improve with safety thou.

It is incredible that this all does not have the option “North References” when we out of the 3rd party GPS (Google or Waze). On the app when you close to the client, we cannot see in which direction we located.

I’ve been a driver for 3 years and I never had a problem with the app. I enjoy it and plus best way to make money real quick.

Compensation

I would love to see the drivers be compensated for extended drive times to pickup customers. I understand at times there might be limited drivers from time to time, however I’ve personally driven more then 12 - 19 minutes to get a customer. Some form of compensation for travel to customers would be awesome.

Lyft used to be a really good company. They were very considerate and helpful. After the pandemic hits, Lyft system is getting nasty by assigning ridiculous pick-ups to hurt the drivers’ earning and acceptance rate. Lyft will always assign drivers a far pick-up location even you are in a dense and busy area. It forces you to decline those requests and hurt your acceptance rate. It makes no sense to accept a far pick-up since you will immediately get a closer pick-up after you’ve rejected the ridiculous one request.
