No support while on trip. Express Pay Not working.

So much is terrible. No support while on a trip. No support for previous ride, unless you cancel current trip. Express pay almost always does not work. No surge pricing, even when it’s busy. Pay is crap for the miles. Support is crap: always closing topic without answers.

I been having problems with the Lyft direct pay for over a week. I never signed up for it and on top of that they send the card to the wrong house. I been chatting with them for a week and still I get the same answer or the close the chat. They push my payment back into next week when I’m supposed to get paid today. All I want it help and I can’t get any. They dont have a number so you can contact them on. Everything is through the chat room and it crazy. I just want my money and that’s it

There are many new improvements that help drivers and I as an experienced driver appreciate your efforts. But if you really care what drivers are dealing with during their daily round special in SF, Please correct the issues below. 1: As we get used to a new feature developer changes it back or once again to a new look. 2: As we stop at intersections the map reroute that’s why drivers are confused if the destination has changed or that’s location error. 3: when we arrive at pickup or destination it doesn’t zoom out enough or not zoomed at all to see exact location. 4: most of the time direct drivers behind buildings or wrong streets. 5: shows the pickup or drop-off addresses on wrong side of street. 6: For no reasons takes you through the longer rout which is a cause of conflict between drivers and riders. CANCELING It’s a good idea to have more option such as “riders bad behaviors “ “ too much loads” “ smokers” these are the missing tabs when a driver wants to cancel a ride after arrival. Once again thank you for your effort.

Dont drive lyft they are taking 50% of your earnings its worst I just book lyft for customer and i see they charge them 20.93 $ and i driver them for ride and i get paid only 9.30$ I heard they took 20% but ow my god dont drive this its dump

Don’t become a driver for lyft. Uber is better. Deactivated my account for no reason. Wont even tell me why. I am a safe driver always have been. I haven't drove for lyft since March 2020 & they cancelled my account in July 2020 saying I did something and they won’t even tell me why. That’s how I know it’s a lie. Bc I am a safe driver. Plus I have a camera in my car at all times when I am driving. So why would I do something unsafe. Does not make sense to me. They won’t even explain to me what happened.


Because of my drivers license

I live in Connecticut and I also live New York and I got driver’s license from New York and I can’t drive for Lyft in Connecticut but I can with Uber which make no sense Beside that it not cool it hard right now change my my drivers license because of this Covid thing it like 2 month before I can get an appointment to change and I gotta wait that before I can drive bs

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Lyft for about a year and what I’ve noticed, is it’s impossible to get in contact with people who can help resolve your issues. Only communication is through help chat and they’re liable to hang up on you. If I could leave a review every time I would to show how often this can happen


10/16/20 app update problems

Updated app today, and weird things started happening. My Bluetooth ear piece stopped working on the app (but worked on all my other apps). Then while en route to a pickup, the pickup rider changed (this is normal), and a few rides later, I see a text pop up to call the rider that I was originally on my way to get earlier (but then the app changed me). Text flashed to say that I should call. After my current ride ended, I stopped to find the text, but not in my iPhone messages and also not stored in the Lyft app?? So I could not call! During the following ride I received x2 calls but did not pick up since I had a rider. After that ride, I stopped to return the missed call - it was the Lyft exchange, but couldn’t take my call! Altogether, I shut down Lyft for the day, switched to a competitor app and now hope Lyft can fix the problems introduced. Aside, is there a better medium to report app problems?


Have to delete and reinstall everyday.

I love driving for Lyft. I do it full time with other jobs on a part time basis. The app malfunctioning on a daily basis makes it hard to navigate and use, and the fact that I have to delete it every day and then reinstall it is crazy! I can’t get an answer from Lyft besides to keep doing the same process (toggle airplane mode, restart my phone and delete the app) to make sure the app is working fully before I start driving. What’s the deal?


No Express Drive Rentals San Diego, CA

I’ve been going on the app everyday multiple times to see if I can rent a car through Express Drive to drive with Lyft, but I keep getting that “No cars available” message. It’s been 11 days since all of my documents were approved and nothing. It says “new appointments are added every day”, but so far it seems like this side of the app has been neglected. There’s the new feature for customers rentals, so I don’t see why there is a lack of car rentals through the Express Drive service. I got laid off from my job and Lyft would be a great option for me if the Express Drive program would actually have rental cars. I really hope this gets more attention. I know Lyft has been a great service for me as a customer, I just hope it can be great as well as a Driver.
