Lyft forgot I did my background check

I had a background check run in August 2020 and now in January 2021 it’s asking me to run another annual check. What kind of company thinks annual is five months? They take you offline to do it and now I can’t drive anymore for them. Thanks for ruining my week, guess I’ll go panhandle since I can’t make money anymore with this sham of a company


Ride cancellations

I’ve been having issues these past couple weeks. When I get a trip the app will cancel the trip and reroute me to another rider. Sometimes it’ll reroute me and cancel a rider 2 to 3 times in a row. This is very annoying especially when I see I have a 15-20 min ride only to get rerouted to a 5 min trip. That’s me losing money. Lyft isn’t slick. I know this is the algorithm that stops drivers from making money faster. It’s a ploy to give drivers more shorter rides than longer ones so that Lyft themselves make more money at the expense of the driver. FIX THIS!!!!

I’ve purchased a 2017 Honda Accord with leather interior originally had 17k mileage. Now about 30k mileage, 500 trips after LYFT DECIDED TO DEACTIVATE MYACCOUNT claiming that I had health safety violation not wearing a mask (because a mad customer falsely accused me) like I want to catch Covid and die for chump change?. When I sent them pictures of me wearing my mask, extra masks in the car and the shield protector they gave me was hooked up they not claimed that a certain customer reported that I was driving intoxicated without any proof which is also a lie. I know business and after 2-3 months driving for them and racking up about 10k mileage on my car and made less than 3-4 thousands dollars is definitely a waste of time. I’m glad I’m not driving for them no more to be honest, waste of time, gas, mileage, their fare rate is trash, the people who uses lyft barely tip you and lyft is an ungrateful company. They are making the most money and aren’t paying their drivers, I mean if you got time to waste and don’t care about putting mileage on your vehicle for chump change, and don’t mind kissing customer a** who won’t even tip you or greet you getting in your car go right ahead. F** lyft

they have to pay the driver more money on multi-stop rides, it is not fair that they go into the supermarket and leave one waiting at 24 cents a minute

Please do not try this side Bussiness it’s not paying enough you have to wait long for rides and it’s to much miles going on your vehicle . it’s not popular one please try Doordash is better option for making money this is not I try for first day I run surrounding my city and I never get any ride for 3 hours driving So please requesting people don’t waste time behind this side hustle.

I have worked for them for 2 years now and a few essential components they need to work on they got a policy of under age minors it’s not fare how their cancel policies work giving that we deal with traffic and other factors that take us more then the eta got my own car now and notice the pay is not what it used to be they don’t pay for long pick ups and also don’t even require passengers to confirm their identity this leaves us open to safety concerns. The new mask policy has made my job a lot more difficult the passengers can hit a button with out being at my car that I don’t have a mask but I do. These passengers should be required for more evidence when making false reports on things too. A company that makes bank on us drivers 18,416 they made on platform fees and service fees and yet they get ride of phone support with driver support channels this company is just getting worse and I am making my exit plan Very soon. Another thing I have noticed they still allow minors on the platform their was a passenger let say his name is John he is 17 he told me I report it with in the chat (streamline experience my rear end) and they just unpaired me with them but yet they can still get rides they “forgot to unpair” me with them this shows lack of integrity for the driver why would I lie about someone being under age a lot of drivers seem to just drive them me following policy shows I respect the rules and show integrity but yet they don’t show it in return I hope people can read and see this so they can beware doing this business is I had a chance to start over I would have never gotten in to rideshare at this point. But think about it 42868 I grossed and only made 24452 net that tells you how this company takes a lot of the money from the drivers and I deducted more and saw that pocket money I have after bills and expenses it’s 5476 and don’t forget expenses and wear and tear on your car this is perfect as a side hustle and meeting people on good days Key take always: -Lower pay -Reports from passengers -Not proving passengers identify and holding them more accountable -lack of support -excuses why their safety line won’t help you restarting harassing or threatening behavior (we are in a pandemic) health safety concerns of passengers with out mask should be a safety concern for their line -support is outsourced as we know English is not their first language -deceitful can see passengers payments and what they made -took away surge pricing -they also do not pay us the same with cancel looks like they wanted a cut in that one if we drive 2 mins to get them 2 dollars cancel fee what if they harass us and hurt us -Lyft’s do not prioritize their drivers needs two years been discussing these issues with them and noting they care more about the bottom line money not our well being

I got flagged as being a risk for suspension after reporting a passenger saying that “White people are the ones who don’t wear masks” wow I honestly thought your company had a little more decency and common sense that hey this driver reported this and oh wait now the passengers is saying this. No safety or protection for drivers and constantly being abused by passengers with racial comments is utterly disgusting.
