They forced me to install this app and request for location services just to redeem a code of John Wick 3, and the normal link to the online redeem didn’t even work because of this trash application.

Instead of redeeming John Wick through Vudu like I usually do with 4K movies, this forces you to download the app and then redeeming through Vudu. Glorified ransom ware QR reader. Don’t forget to delete after redeeming.

This app data-mines your device and does not work properly. I don’t know if I want to support John Wick 4 in the Theater with this malicious behavior from the studio.

I am not sure what everyone is having issues with? I downloaded the app, scanned the QR code, selected AppleTV for where I wanted to redeem my Digital Movie & that was it...my digital copy was in my AppleTV in less than 5-seconds! I give it 4-stars as I wish I didn’t have to use their app, but hey...it worked fine for me.

Ok I am a crazy when it comes to security because of the work I do. I didn’t want to download this but the great thing is if you want the movie using iTunes the app redirected me without needing to enter my email. My camera light came on which freaked me out but I realized it asked to access my camera to take a photo of the code. Anyway, deleted the app so no worries over all.

This is the only movie I’ve redeemed that required an app to do so. The redeem process worked... eventually. It was poorly conceived and designed. It gets 2 stars instead of 1 only because it *did* eventually let me redeem John Wick 3 to my Google library without making me create a lionsgate account first. But I did have to provide my email. This app is nonsense.

The most useless pointless app ever

Basically this app requires you to scan the hologram and QR code to get the actual code you need for iTunes or one of several other services. The scanning process barely works. It requires the hologram to be reflective and the light from the camera causes reflect back from the hologram into the lens thus rendering the camera UNABLE to work most of the time. All this for John Wick Part 3, and as the other reviewer mentioned, wasn’t needed for the other two movies.
