Beware. This app is used to data mine. There is a way to redeem your movie without giving them any information. Deny the attempt to view your location. It’s not needed to redeem the movie. And don’t put in your email address, just click “redeem.” I use Vudu and now have my movie with all of my other movies. So now they have access to my phone and whatever data they got from my download and redemption but they didn’t get everything. I deleted the app after redeeming my movie and I’ll be looking online to see if there’s another way to redeem it without an app.

You can’t actually do what Lionsgate claims and redeem your digital movie online anywhere. You MUST download this app. That’s awful. I don’t want your app. I do t want to give you any information about me, my phone, or anything else. But if I want to get WHAT I ALREADY PAID FOR, I must. Awful awful practice.

Seriously!? This app asks for your location data? And its not even an actual movie service it just gives you a code or has you sign in to the service to redeem it there. This app is literally there only to collect your email and location data so they can market to you. Infuriating

The app is garbage and adds no value to the convenience of digital download. Scan feature is unreliable and even the redeem online feature did not work. Left with having to contact the help email to download the movies. This app is a complete scam to harvest user data and try to force future downloads to this app online. Preventing your current shared video library from also including your Lionsgate movies. Absolutely do not recommend this and I hope they will fix their mistake and return to using the the already established movie libraries that have fine tuned the process.

None of the scanning features work and Lionsgate films no longer sync up with apps like movies anywhere or Apple TV. Horrible innovation of a new online film app, go back to using movies anywhere codes!

This app has bugs and Lionsgate has no support team

Careful when using this app to redeem multiple copies with multiple Vudu accounts. The app stays logged into the first Vudu.com account without you knowing and will ignore the second email address. Then it will deliver the second movie title to the first Vudu.com account, which Vudu will refuse but apparently Lionsgate has no idea. Then, when you try to get support from Lionsgate, you will realize they have no support ticket system and just send out form emails to encourage people to go away.

What is the point of this piece of garbage app? Why can’t I just redeem digital codes through your website? Stop being greedy and get rid of this stupid, pointless crap.

I really don’t see why people are dying it’s so bad. I saw people saying they couldn’t scan there John wick 3 code and they had to tilt it weirdly. When I got it it told me what to do to get it and told me if I needed to tilt my phone and it worked fast. I have all 3 movies now. And I can watch them just fine

This app worked just fine to scan the movie. And it actually scans it and lets you redeem it on the already established sites,(vudu, Apple TV, etc) hopefully going forward you guys have better luck.

Wish I could give no stars. Had to move the app around to find a reflection when the stupid thing could have just read the barcode or let me enter the code. Waste of App Store space
