I have tried multiple times over many months to chat with or speak to a person and it's impossible. This app and hotels.com is a waste of time, money, and effort. It is definitely not consumer friendly.

The customer service for Hotels.com is terrible and gave me the wrong information and tried to act like they didn’t when I sent them screenshots.

Consumer beware. I thought Hotels.com would be a good place to book hotel rooms for travel. The stamps rewards program seems like a great incentive, every 10 stays you get one free state. However this is not the case, they removed five stamps from my account because they think that I was refunded by the hotel when I never was refunded. If you make any changes, or if the hotel makes any changes to your reservation that you booked on or through Hotels.com, they void your stamps. I will be filing a complaint with consumer affairs, and the Attorney General. Use at your own caution, but don’t plan on ever being able to redeem any rewards, as they will find any reason, or no reason, to remove stamps and rewards from your account. Also the customer service at Hotels.com is literally nonexistent. If you get a representative on the phone they will tell you they are unable to help you and it will have to go to another department and they will only respond via email. They will not address any questions directly.

We are very happy with this App. Easy to use and love the free or discounted hotel when you teach 10 stays. Customer service since the pandemic has been difficult because there is no one to personally speak to.
