Introducing the Guardian™ Connect continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system. The Guardian Connect system uses a tiny sensor to measure glucose levels in fluid just below your skin, every 5 minutes. It takes readings all day and night and sends them to your phone via a small wireless transmitter, so you can see how you're doing anytime.
With the Guardian Connect mobile app, you can see your most recent sensor glucose data and glucose trends over time. You can also receive alerts to notify you when you're going above or below your preferred range and keep track of daily events which may impact your glucose levels.
Your mobile app also sends your data to CareLink™ Personal diabetes management software, so you can see your full information online and share your information with family or friends. Those closest to you can even receive text messages whenever you go out of range.
To use the Guardian Connect system, you will need the Guardian Connect transmitter and Guardian Sensor 3, as well as this app. To learn more or purchase the Guardian Connect system, visit www.medtronicdiabetes.com.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This app will only work with Guardian Connect transmitter, which was specifically designed to communicate with your iPhone or iPod touch via Bluetooth. This transmitter has the letters "GC" on the front. It will not connect to other Medtronic CGM transmitters, including the MiniLink and Guardian Link 3 transmitters.

I have been having issues with the sensor since the last update loses communication. Recently got a new IPhone XR and the app will jot work with the phone disclaimer about the IOS 14.1 operating system
truly I don’t have too many problems with the app itself. My sensor works great for and it has its days where the app doesn’t work perfectly, but that’s okay. What is frustrating to me is that Medtronic does not update its app quick enough with Apple releases. I got the new phone 12 pro and the app won’t work in my phone. I have been going sensor less for two weeks because of it. it’s frustrating that this app is only compatible with certain phones and IOS and is not staying up with the newest so it is compatible for all.
Need to catch up or find a way to keep ahead faster as competitors are advancing faster. No Apple watch app and forever to get working on new devices. Come development team. Seems not focused on stay tech savvy. Very dissatisfied
It mostly happens with Google Meet, but it has happened to some other calling apps as well, but every time I get a notification from Guardian Connect my call gets completely muted unless I call the person again or rejoin the meeting (in Google Meet's case) and it's really annoying and inconvenient to keep doing that all the time. If I turn off Critical Notifications on the Notifications Settings, it stops the problem but then the app gets a huge splash screen that blocks half of the screen, making it pretty much unusable. Aside from that issue, everything else's been working as it is supposed to.
It’s crazy how behind the updates for this app are. The supplies for this CGM aren’t cheap and neither are cell phones. When will this app be available for the iPhone 12?
Need a widget for iPhone and Apple Watch!!!!! This is a better sensor than Dexcom and they have more features! PLEASE!!!
I wish I could set the calibration times. I hate having to wake up in the middle of the night to calibrate because I have trouble falling back asleep. Also, after iOS 14 I continue to get an error message that tells me to login, but I can’t login or sign out.
You need to up date ur app if u get the new iPhone 12 it don’t work what a wast of money you have to spend that kind of money on stuff it should work no matter what this thing is a joke they should have to refund people’s money back for not working worth a crap
A person should be able to upgrade their phone and not have to worry if their medical device will work or not. Other than that it all works but only when the app is compatible.
