I have tried several times to pair my Guardian 3. It keeps sending me back to try to pair it and I haven’t had any luck.Very disappointed

I would consider this app pretty barebones. It’s also not been updated since May. Another reviewer says it doesn’t work with IOS 13. My biggest gripe is the app/device do not update glucose in the Apple Heath app and there is no Apple Watch interface. I do think the device is pretty accurate on glucose values, although I have not done a two device comparison other than the 6/12 hr calibrations. I’ve used the app and it’s related device for two months now and have friends with the competition. I got this system because I wanted to go to Medtronic 870g in future but now I’m really second guessing my decision.

Seems this doesn't work with 12.4, 12.4.1, 13.0 or 13.1. You are 4 versions behind. I feel I have been ripped off. I can't leave my phone on the old versions. They have major security issues. You need to keep up. I feel I was sold a magic unicorn. Maybe we need to look at a class action lawsuit. I can't even use your device. This is not acceptable!

What a disappointment to find this app only allows Guardian Sensors that have a GC printed on the sensor. The app a least should have supported the Guardian Sensors printed with a G as well. Very Disappointing. I’m not buying a new sensor for this disappointing app.

I was initially really excited about trying this out but I can’t even get the app to find my transmitter. After reading previous comments I’m assuming it’s because I have the new iPhone and iOS 13.... please update this app so we can use it!!

Very unhappy customer! You guys bugged the hell out of me to have my insurance authorize this order and now that it’s here come to find out your app isn’t compatible with the iPhone 11?! So you got payment and not providing the service! I’m so freaking unhappy!!!!

I just switch from the Dexcom G6 to Guardian Connect. I guess I was spoiled by the Dexcom system. Way more technology and easier to attach transmitter. The GC seems to be more accurate than G6 but that’s only due to you checking your glucose to calibrate the machine twice a day. I’m having to use my iPad due to GC not working on iPhone 11.

This app requires the MiniMed Connect Uploader to get past the setup screen. A previous version would not identify my Guardian transmitter via Bluetooth, and it would not allow a manual SN entry to pair. In both cases, I’ve been unable to use the app. Please consider your user base, Medtronic. This is shameful development practice.

System works great to manage my diabetes my only complaint is the alert volumes are not controllable and are set for maximum volume. It’s very annoying to be listening to music or even a quiet moment in a movie and get blasted with a alert. I forgot to mention when the alert goes off at maximum volume it also changes the volume of whatever you were doing (music, movie...) to maximum volume for a few seconds too. Also it does not work with CarPlay, which I would consider a very smart feature to have.

Can’t pair my cgm with the app. I think it has something to do with a glitch in the notifications center. But you’d think a multi billion dollar pharma company could fix some glitches in an app. Or at least attempt to patch the glitches which they haven’t done in months.
