Dental Trauma First Aid - Knowledge is lacking among the general population in how to take care of a dental trauma at the scene of an accident.
For a totally knocked out tooth your first aid could be of vital importance to save the tooth. This app will help parents, teachers, sport coaches and others to make the best first aid. This app shows what to do, and if a visit to a dentist could be delayed or not, when a fragment of the crown is fractured, when there is increased mobility or dislocation of a tooth, or in case of a completely knocked out tooth.
Congratulations for getting this critically important information as a friendly and simple application. The application is a must for parents, teachers, coaches, paramedics, nurses, and healthcare providers. Time and knowledge are the essence to save traumatized teeth and save our children's smiles! Dr. Nestor Cohenca.
It is too simple for dentist maybe for px is ok but it is not that helpful. I would say I through my money to the trash
Got this app following a trauma CE course, sounded promising, but it is extremely basic. Most dentists should already know this information, but it appears to be much more geared for the general public who might panic in the event of a trauma (even then, would they really spend $2.99 to buy it or would they be more likely to rush to a dentist...?) The most disappointing aspect is the pediatric section, where it doesn't give any substantial information except a single page that essentially states "go see a dentist." Recommended for general public, not for practitioners.
Do not waste your money on this. It provides no useful information. Generally, the advice for every situation is to go see a dentist. This guide offers nothing to a practicioner.
