Very good compared to competitors

I have used the dexcom g5, g6, and freestyle libre. This sensor and app works well and doesn’t have any issues to complain about. Recommend Medtronic over dexcom hands down. Best customer service I’ve dealt with also.


Straight up garbage

This app is horrible. For one he treats you like you’re a two-year-old not knowing how to use a device. And for two it will not pair with your sensor/Transmitter no matter how many times you try or how many sensors you use it plain up and simply does not work good luck though I hear it works for some people don’t know who because everyone I’ve talked to that tried it cannot get it to function.


Get it together Medtronic

I just recently purchased a iPhone 12 pro and since Medtronic doesn’t have the proper technologist / developers they recommend NOT UPGRADING YOUR PHONE AND SOFTWARE in order to keep their glucose monitors working. Let’s unpack this suggestion for a moment. 1. When apple releases an update it’s because 8 out of 10 times there is some sort of security / performance issues they are FIXING. To suggest to customers NOT to upgrade their iOS is reckless and terrible advise to give customers. 2. Why aren’t they ahead of new iOS releases. I have to expect that 7.5 billion dollar organization should have this all figured out. Instead, their users have to sit idle while they get it together. 3. You keep sending me transmitters knowingly that at some point those will not work with the new devices / iOS upgrades. I never wrote app review before until now. This organization should be ashamed to be providing such suggestions and terrible service. I’m speculating here, but I have to think the suggestion NOT to upgrade your iOS has to be against apples policy. Other customers should think twice before moving forward with this solution (or lack there of). Let me just additional context. On 1/28/21 Apple announced publicly that there are multiple security vulnerabilities in iPhones which allow malicious actors to GAIN elevated privileges and remotely execute code on these devices. So Medtronic, STOP telling people not to update their devices. It’s reckless and frankly laziness on your part. Shame on you for having a message in your app telling people NOT to upgrade their device. Get it together and start growing up as a tech company.

I have used 9 sensors so far and gotten only 1 to work... customer service tells me to do the same things every time I try to put the sensor on and every time nothing works and they say sorry we couldn’t help and they hang up. Completely useless. Good luck ever getting the sensor to connect, and if somehow it does connect 90 percent of the time it will immediately disconnect and you will have to rip it off and start all over again. If by miracle you get it to work right it still disconnects all the time and ends your phone calls and spades out constantly. It’s also often very inaccurate when compared to a Glucometer. Wish I could give this zero stars. Waste of money!!


The app does not pair with G3

I’ve tried pairing it multiple times at the set up screen and followed the directions. Does not connect/pair with iPhone 12. In theory this is great but the application is yet to actually be smooth in set up and actual support on connection issues

I have tried multiple times to pair my guardian connect app on my iPhone 11 with my GL3 transmitter. It will not pair. I’ve tried it several times. It will not use find my transmitter

This app seems to drop the signal way too much for my comfort! Especially if I go low! I’ve gone through 3 sensors. You replaced them which I appreciate but why waste like this? You need to be in touch with Apple BEFORE they roll out any updates! To have a great product. It has to work!
