I have downloaded this app I can not get into it at all. I really need it badly I have gastroparesis and find it very difficult to do sugars and meals. This app I think would help a lot if I could get into it

On the phone with apple advanced IT person now and she says it’s the developer. I called Medtronic (the developer) and they say to call apple. I am also getting the “cannot sign in: no cloud connectivity right now. Please try again later.” It’s always given me this pop up notification.... I’ve been trying for 6 months now. The apple IT customer service lady said it doesn’t say, “iCloud” just Cloud. So please try getting in touch with the developer again.

Very slow to use
Ron3884

This app works great and is very helpful track my meals, how meals effect my blood sugar levels and predicting and earning me of future low blood sugar levels. The only issue I have is sometimes it runs very slow, taking a few minutes to load or refresh the screen. Both my phone and operating system are the latest and up to date. Because of this I forget to enter data ☹️

Need improvements
Pete Barb

As an engineer I was pretty excited to leverage AI to manage my diabetes. However, this application require a lot of time to enter data that is somehow duplicated with the guardian sensor app and most of the time generates trivial recommendations, e.g., ‘a low is expected in next 4 hrs,’ which is pretty much expected with any diabetic unless there is carb intake in between. Therefore after 3 months I have determined that it does not add any value to my treatment and stopped using it. Recommendations: Simplify the data intake considering perhaps barcode for existing processed food or that food come fresh. Think one touch. Better interface with Sensor Guardian app to avoid duplicated efforts. Focus recommendations on non-trivial value added solutions that patients can act on, e.g., blood sugar tends to increase 2 hrs after salt intake, noticed consumption of chips, recommend reducing it, and check again in 2 weeks. Also recommend adding a follow up feature, eg, noticed blood sugar rises after cream cheese intake, confirm in 2 weeks. Also, I would really like a feature to analyze the raw data and see the results of the analysis better.

You can not download the data from the app
Nash1399

My doctor’s office has no reception so I can’t show them the data compiled from the app. I called the 1-800 number to see if there is a way to login and download the information, I was told no. This makes the app useless to me. As the previous person said the app is also very slow.

This app gives a lot back if you enter information. The more you put into it, the more you get out of it. The IBM Watson insights are amazing and have taught me things about my diabetes and the way my body responds to food and lifestyle that I haven’t recently considered (I’ve had diabetes 20+ years). This convenience with the A.I. Collaboration is the future of diabetes. I’m excited to see where Medtronic takes this platform next!

Medtronic collecting data...
Unhappy @ KPN

Seems rather strange that there is only 1 recent 5 star rating, probably Medtronic representatives. How is it possible that so many real world experiences giving 1 star, having very specific good advice goes unanswered and not addressed, only to be followed by someone giving an almost breathtaking marketing response. Also that this product is dated 2018 seems Medtronic made an app to collect data but they have not really listened (large corporations rarely do) you & your data are the product here and not important if the application gets fixed or functions better, or they would listen and have regular updates and done do by now. In my opinion in the past you could keep your personal Medtronic health data on your pc, private between you the physicians & hospital but now everything is on Medtronic’s cloud, seriously hampering our personal health privacy, where they can share with partners and that partner could be sold with your data along with it. I find it criminal they don’t have the option to have our privacy paramount should you decide you don’t want to use their cloud services. And now your hospital who kept that information private shares everything with this multinational corporation as their in-house program has been closed and they are forced to share all our data with Medtronic. In my opinion criminal
