App Stuck

Just installed app and it tells me my cart is empty. The only option it gives is to click SHOP. When you click it nothing happens. Have closed the app & repeated the login process several times. Nothing changes. Disappointing.

For the last week, I have only gotten “Server error” while attempting to login. I’d be willing to change my rating once the issue is resolved.

GNC is solid. Their App is NOT. Used to work, but for the last month or so, every time I try to log in I get a server error. Same phone, I can go to the website and log in with no problem. So, I know it isn’t the phone, the connection, or my login information. That leaves me with the App. I went as far in my troubleshooting as deleting and reinstalling the app. That got me a little further, but doesn’t give me any functionality the app supposedly has. After reading through the most recent posts, I see that I am not the only one.

I HATE having to go online because GNC is slowly closing all stores and never have anything in stock when you do manage to find a store. The company seems to care only about the online consumer and everyone else can just take a hike.


No product labels

Can’t read the product labels on the app like you can the website. Not good.

Disclaimer: I am a GNC employee. I love GNC and all the products we sell (highest standards in the industry). I’ve always had the app and remember it being very useful. I also had an online account, which I tried to use to login into the app and I am left with the impression that my account no longer exists (I used it to write a couple product previews). Thinking maybe I forgot my password, I decided to reset my password but I never got an email to reset it. I’ve had customers come into my store with the same problem. I know that in the past if you had a gnc.com account you could not sign up in store with the same email address you used for your gnc.com account (gnc.com and the in store loyalty program were operating as two separate entities) what is STILL unclear to me is whether that is still an issue? Did GNC just delete all gnc.com accounts prior to December 2016 when the new rewards program was launched? The communication is terrible. Besides the headache with logging in/signing up it seems like half the inventory is missing from the app, including products that I know for a fact are not discontinued. I try to use this app at work as well and it’s pretty much useless. I can’t find most of the products I am looking for, I can’t find product labels anymore. It has lost all functionality. I also wish GNC communicated better about the status of your online account, whether or not they deleted it, if you need to sign up all over again, you’re left to figure everything out on your own...it’s just disappointing.

Just used it for the first time got tired of going to the store and looking on line, using the app is the same thing just really convenient. No bs we’re gonna keep using this app no crash only it doesn’t keep me logged in but my points stay with my account
