Almost no functionality – GNC LiveWell Review

Disclaimer: I am a GNC employee. I love GNC and all the products we sell (highest standards in the industry). I’ve always had the app and remember it being very useful. I also had an online account, which I tried to use to login into the app and I am left with the impression that my account no longer exists (I used it to write a couple product previews). Thinking maybe I forgot my password, I decided to reset my password but I never got an email to reset it. I’ve had customers come into my store with the same problem. I know that in the past if you had a gnc.com account you could not sign up in store with the same email address you used for your gnc.com account (gnc.com and the in store loyalty program were operating as two separate entities) what is STILL unclear to me is whether that is still an issue? Did GNC just delete all gnc.com accounts prior to December 2016 when the new rewards program was launched? The communication is terrible. Besides the headache with logging in/signing up it seems like half the inventory is missing from the app, including products that I know for a fact are not discontinued. I try to use this app at work as well and it’s pretty much useless. I can’t find most of the products I am looking for, I can’t find product labels anymore. It has lost all functionality. I also wish GNC communicated better about the status of your online account, whether or not they deleted it, if you need to sign up all over again, you’re left to figure everything out on your own...it’s just disappointing.
