I’m a very patient pushover and I’m not exaggerating when I say my order is almost never right. There’s almost always something missing or a problem with the delivery. Neither the driver nor the restaurant ever takes responsibility for screwing up, and I often don’t even report it. A refund doesn’t make me less hungry. Also, they deliver to the wrong address 50% of the time.

They don’t take any responsibility for the completion of your order, so you can just hope your food gets delivered. I say this after it took two hours for “25 minute” delivery to arrive at the wrong house.


Pushes random marketing push notifications

App works for the two places I order from but they push random annoying marketing and promotion messages through push notifications (which is against Apple App Store guidelines).

This was my first time using ANY food delivery app & it was amazing! The order process was so user friendly & my order was scheduled for a 40 minute delivery time but I received my order in about 20 minutes from the time I placed my order until it arrived at my door! The delivery person was great & friendly. I don’t see any reason to use any other app for food delivery & I will definitely use repeatedly. Highly recommend!

Cancellations an hour after confirmation

Twice this year I’ve had my order cancelled an hour after placing it and receiving confirmation. Eat Street has ruined two dinners now. I thought once was a fluke but the second time is unacceptable. Deleted.


Unsafe and no accountability

I would give this zero stars if I could. I placed an order through EatStreet for a fast food restaurant on a Monday night. A few minutes after placing the order, I received a message and email from EatStreet advising me that the order was cancelled by the restaurant and they’d be issuing a refund. Whatever, no big deal. The following Tuesday morning I was working from home when my apartment buzzer started to ring off the hook. I am a single woman who lives alone and was not expecting anyone. So I looked out my window that faces down over the front door and saw a (rather sketchy) looking man repeatedly and agitatedly ringing my buzzer. I was obviously frightened so I ignored it and contemplated calling either the landlord or the police. I then received a call and voicemail from an unknown number, which turned out to be the man very angrily instructing me to come outside and get my food (which he described as the cancelled order items). He left after about 15 minutes, and I immediately reached out to EatStreet customer support to report the incident and ask how my information came into the hands of this man for an order that was CANCELLED YESTERDAY. Their response was basically, “Oops, our bad. Not sure how that happened. We’ll forward your feedback to our driving team.” Barely even an apology for an incident where my personal information was basically compromised and led to a very frightening confrontation. DO NOT USE THIS APP.

I had been using this app fine for years but I am now deleting it from my phone. I placed an order for $20 of food which is not very much for delivery standards but is still quite a splurge on food. I followed the order and never received a knock but got a text saying the food was delivered. After checking my front door and the other buildings near me to make sure it wasn’t delivered accidentally to a neighbor, I reached out to the customer service team. I spoke with them for thirty minutes where they told me the food was delivered and to check again even after I had told them I had already checked. I was then asked if my address was correct (it was) and finally told the driver said they delivered the food so there was nothing they could do and I could not be issued a refund. After asking to speak to a supervisor, I was told that someone would contact me to discuss it in 48 hours. They also did not allow any option to file a complaint against the driver. I asked multiple times what I needed to do to get this handled today as $20 is a lot of money, and was told they couldn’t help me, I couldn’t speak to anyone else, I could not file a complaint, and the only thing I could do was wait for the supervisor to send me an email. This definitely seems like it is a purposeful theft and I’m very dissatisfied with how little help I was offered and the fact that I am now out both the money and the food.

I would give zero stars if I could. Customer service is worthless. I waited twice as long as my estimated time and customer service did NOTHING to remedy my inconvenience or frustration. Do not waste your time or money.
