Hello I’m wondering how I can make my light strips Go through the spectrum instead of changing the color by hand like a rgb keyboard so it is like going through colors

Have bulbs set up in multiple rooms through Bluetooth and love it. App is pretty responsive but sometimes you have to refresh. There is one issue when you try to set up automation it always says the automation failed even when it actually successfully sets up the automation. If you try to change an automation it also says failed even though it changed it.

Looks like they killed the server that these need to work with for smart devices. So one of the main selling points of getting these bulbs seems like it’s dead. I want my money back. Or just fix the servers already. Doesn’t work with HomeKit, Alexa or Google Home anymore.

My experience with the app and line of products have been horrible. I am constantly having to reboot and reprogram my devices. I don’t even bother syncing this with my Alexa anymore. I like the LED bulbs with color changing features but I won’t buy anymore of them because of the app itself. I strongly suggest staying away from GE products that you will need to sync this app to an Alexa or Google home. If you want to just use the app it else then you will probably get what I consider a 2 star rating.

Can you add a feature to strobe between selected colors. Not flash, but gradient changing.

I have the iPhone 12 and this app constantly freezes and doesn’t allow me to add anything. Now I’m taking these light strips back no point of having them. Going to see how the Phillips brand work out for me

So, I had gotten one of these "C by GE full color direct connect" lights to test them (not from influtester) and when I had gotten the app, I couldn't make an account. It kept giving me "Sign in failed" pop-ups and it wasn't saying what the issue was. So, I gave up for a few hours after I had gotten another full color bulb from Sylvania. Now, I will say.. The Sylvania bulbs are just as great as C by GE bulbs, just with easier setup. Then I went to try again to make an account and.. Poof! Issue resolved! I was able to set up my bulb and try it. It was amazing dispite the making account issue. Good product, with horrid app execution. Hope you as the reader found this helpful or informitive! Have a great day!

I’ve had a great experience with this app and their lights. I use mine simply and don’t connect it to any smart home system like alexa so that probably helps with the seamless experience. The only thing I think would be really useful to develop would be some iOS widgets. It would be great to have added efficiency by having a widget with the ability to select certain scenes or adjust certain lights from the home screen. Overall a fantastic experience with these lights and the app.

Why isn’t there Siri Shortcuts support yet? Other than that and the fact that you need to buy more things to use with different accessories when clearly you can use the same way the app connects to the device for all accessories. It’s a pretty good app.

These 3 wire smart switches and dimmers were a great idea. They work without a neutral wire which is what I needed. But then they came in from my order and they were missing parts. Missing the faceplate in one box. Missing wire nuts in a few of them. There were two that had the 4 wire model in 3 wire model boxes. The app is pretty clumsy. All great intentions here as well but setting up automations isn’t very intuitive. I am returning all my dimmers and switches and I will be looking for a better solution. I hope GE is able to deliver on their intentions in the future but they have fallen short here with these products and this app. Buyer beware you might be stuck in the weeds with any C by GE products!
