Maybe I’m just not demanding much of these bulbs, because it seems to work okay for me. These c-sleep bulbs were on clearance at Lowe’s for an absolutely awesome discount, and although I checked this apps reviews before buying, at that price I figured they would be a throwaway if it didn’t work for me. Now it could use a little work, as sometimes I have to force close the app and relaunch it to see the bulbs, but otherwise they work. Scheduling them seems to work fine. The color is quite good as far as LED bulbs go. Their PWM dimming is rapid enough to be pretty much unnoticeable. I like them!

Love product but there are a couple exceptions:

I’ll begin by saying that I’m a huge fan of this product. I have 4 bulbs total, purchased at Target. Two C-Life bulbs are in our living room, they simply go on and off and can be dimmed. The two C-Sleep bulbs are in our bedroom, they are programmable by time and have three lighting choices. I use these to simulate sunrise on the weekdays along with my alarm clock. It’s been a GREAT HELP with getting up in the morning. It feels more natural and friendly. That said- we’ve had problems in the past with the bulbs not being found by our phones. At one point my husband and I could both control with our phones, we later had to delete his because that seemed to be what was causing it, despite the fact that we had properly shared controls. Now that we’ve given up that effort, my only complaint is that the recent update removed the option to choose my own background. Now you can only have a white screen, this is very “loud” when used in the night in a dim room- I really loved the black option. Overall- would purchase product and app again.

I have no issues with the functionality of this app or the bulb. Don’t know what’s going on with everyone else here. I have had the same bulb working for over a year now.

So I’m sitting here in a dark room and I can’t turn my lights on because this app has lost connection and Bluetooth can’t be re “paired” with the bulbs. Wonderful!!! Tremendous innovation GE, you managed to screw up light-bulbs, something perfected over 100 years ago by Tesla.. freaking morons.

Was working well with the latest revision that had the dark theme. Now i have to turn bluetooth off and back on when i launch this app to get the bulbs connected as in previous revisions of the app. The dark theme was very useful when turning on a bulb when it’s dark in the room ? (UPDATE: Saw firmware update for some of my bulbs, ran it. Eventually it hung and now it won’t connect to any of my bulbs no matter what. Killing app, turning bulbs off and on, resetting my phone’s radios, nothing. Reconnecting the bulbs [of which I have 6] are such a massive pain that I just think I should go back to normal non ge lightbulbs.)
