Great App to simplify the whole donation process

All the key information is available in one place and easily accessible. Donor card, eligibility dates, Even the Rapid Pass. Only thing missing from the app is the historical Vitals of previous donations. The Website shows you the last 30. The App only has the last 3, which cost it the 5th star.

It makes no sense to say eligibility is 56 (whole blood) or 112 (power red) days after your last donation, if that’s not the truth. 112 days after September 28th is January 18th. So why am I unable to schedule a donation until after February 7th in the app? There is a need and open appointments before the 7th. Am I missing something?

I liked this app up until a couple months ago. Now every time I try to open it, it closes. I don’t like going to the website, that’s why I downloaded the app, because it makes things so much easier. Now, it’s pretty much no good to me, so I might as well delete it.
Complaint about Rapid Pass

The app will not save a rapid pass completion. It will email it or allow you to print it. I do not have a printer and the Rapid Pass barcode did not show up in my email so I had to do it again when I got to the blood donation clinic. There needs to be a way for the app to save a Rapid Pass completion so that doesn’t happen again.
Blood Donations are amazing

This app is of course great to keep track of all blood stuff, make appointments to give blood, and set up a rapid pass without having to get to the facility so early to fill it out. The staff is so friendly and is willing to help you and give you anything you need. Thank you to American Red Cross for making the donation process easy and for making it a great way to give back to other people in need!

I can’t schedule my next donation appointment through the app because I keep receiving an error message saying, “There was a problem. Start date must be current date or later.” I want to donate, but this app makes it impossible!
It's okay, and getting better

The really useful things it does is serves as my donor card, lets me schedule appointments, and lets me do the rapid pass. I also love being able to look at my donation history with details of pulse (although my experience is that about half the time they hold my wrist a while, then write in an average pulse rate), blood pressure and hemoglobin. A couple of things that would be useful: • Improve badges. They could be fun. Add a bunch more. Like a lot more. Have the app check which I have earned. There are several I’ve earned in my history that don’t show up as earned. • Include even more detail in my history of donations. What was my weight? Better yet, let me set preferences on which details I want to see. • Other reviewers have mentioned that the app isn’t very intuitive. Hard to navigate.
