Explanations of all types of blood product donations are clear and very helpful regarding eligibility. Additionally, one is easily able to save time by using the Rapid Pass prior to donation. I encourage those interested in donating to read up on how donating can help people; there’s an option available for almost anyone.

This app is a time-saver when scheduling and preparing (rapid-pass) to donate. Has definitely contributed to my becoming a regular donor. It’s great to have the history of my donations st my fingertips.
App doesn’t share medical info with Apple Health app

It looks to me like there’s no way to have this app share medical data with Apple’s Health app. There should be an option to do so. It would be useful to have blood pressure, iron levels, and any other data that the Red Cross collects sync to the Health app. Please give your blood donors this option!

I wish there was a place on the app where you could enter the date of your donation and have it tell you the next day you were eligible to give.

I’m very impressed by how well-done this app is. It’s very helpful for finding donation sites and scheduling appointments. The Rapid Pass feature is also a great time saver. It lets you fill out the screening form ahead of time and speeds up the donation process. I think the app is also very intuitive and easy to view (none of this text in 9 point gray font on a white background nonsense that so many other apps use). Very well done!
