Don’t do it

MakeupLife000

I’ve never been overly excited about a single item I’ve received. They say the items are of a certain value but I don’t see it. The customization is minimal and customer service is incredibly limited in what they can do. Don’t do it.

Birchbox has you fill out a preference profile, but, they don’t follow it.

I have received at least five boxes that have nothing to do with my profile. I have requested mostly makeup samples and all of my recent boxes have contained nothing but hair and facial products.

Used to be a lot better

I’ve been a Birchbox customer for 5+ years and I love it. I’m not a makeup aficionado, i would have no idea what to buy in a store, and so this service is the perfect way for me to be exposed to various beauty products & find what I like before buying the full size item. ***However, for the past year I’ve gotta admit the service, primarily the app, has taken a dive in quality. My box Never arrives until mid-to-end of the month (website says it’s supposed to Arrive by the 10th of the month). The app RARELY works properly, and also no longer gives you any notifications.

They don’t send anything except moisturizers, face masks and hair product. A girl can only use so many different moisturizers. Never any cosmetics or even tools that they advertise. Buyer beware!!

One of the worst apps around

barbiegirl0630

I’ve had the birchbox app since 2013 and I’m not exaggerating when I say it has not improved since then. It is awful, so slow, so glitchy, horrible user experience. Hire new developers and fix it!!

Fun, but has its drawbacks.

The biggest thing I would change is that the beauty profile should give options to exclude certain products or ingredients. I receive hair products with sulfates and silicones sometimes that I cannot use, which is a total waste of money.

Been using this subscription for over five years and while I still enjoy the fun mail, using the app is often a PITA.
