Can’t pair my Alexa with Two comparable smart plugs.

Used to, but.....

Red G-Ma

I did enjoy Alexa until they started making everything so stinking complicated and want more money for everything I want to use that used to be free. Like the music app. Now it’s so difficult I can’t even get it started again. Shouldn’t have gotten an Apple tablet I guess.?

No good?

Off and of. More frustration than work.

Massive Problems

Cheepoo1

I have a total of 10 devices. Either Dots or Echos. Have had no problem for several years. As of two days ago that all changed. These things have a mind of their own. The connect to the network and moments later they disconnect. I’ve gone through the setup on each one over and over. I get most of them online and as I’m working on the last one, 1,2 or 3 more disconnect.

Love but

Love it but it does need to be more user friendly. I find myself having to google or YouTube “how to” on this app a lot.

Loved it until I didn’t...

This app and the accompanying speakers I use it to control started off amazing. I had Sonos speakers in my home and got frustrated with the connectivity issues. I heard a lot of good things about the Amazon Studio and decided to give it a shot. I already had the Show to talk to my kids and it worked fantastically so why not! I loved the sound and eventually found myself slowly but surely replacing the speakers in my home. The speakers sounded great and the app made managing and using them (and all the little perks for having the virtual assistant) quick and easy. Then about a week ago the app requested out of nowhere that I sign in.... I have been putting in my password, changed my password, reset the app, quit the app, reinstalled the app, closed it again, uninstalled it again, reinstalled it again until finally I uninstalled it, just now, for the last time. How do I get rid of routines or change them to match what I need now without that app?!? How do I select the song I want to hear when Alexa thought I said I wanted to hear something else? How do I interact with the virtual assistant without confusion without this app?!? As of right now, I don’t think you can and I’m frustrated to all hell with it. Since I’m writing honest reviews, I’m going to go ahead and go deliver that one star review for the Sonos app. At least this app worked perfectly for months. That one was messed up off and on starting day 3. ??‍♂️
