Terrible App
Confused :(
You would think that with the amount of marketing and work that Amazon puts into its Alexa devices, they’ve would’ve put some work into the Alexa app. This app is the WORST app on my phone. It constantly freezes. Most recently, it completely stopped working. I thought maybe it was my phone. I hard closed the app, gave my phone a hard reset and updated the app in the App Store. Nope. Nothing would unfreeze the app. I had to just delete it. For an amazon product, this is so disappointing. I originally thought that I was going to buy more Alexa devices. Not anymore. They push you to buy, buy, buy and once they have your money, you’re on your own. It’s a bait and switch.
Lists REALLY needs improvement

Love this except for the lists. Had the same problem as others when trying to bring up lists in stores. Have had lists come up but cannot use, just freezes up and cannot be opened until the next day. Useless for lists. VERY disappointed.
Not user friendly

It keeps saying I need to set up Multi Room Music in order to play music on multiple devices, but there is no way to do that in the app. I’ve looked everywhere in the app, there is no way to make a group of all my Amazon devices to play music.
Fix lists!

One of the best things about Alexa are lists. But as others have said, they aren't working. My list freezes at store so I can't scroll or check off items. In order to restart I have to be in Wi-Fi range at front of store. I started to use Anylist app & skill which fixes things for me. But my wife is on Android and which doesn't support Anylist and its great features.

Thanks. Now all the app does is hang as soon as it’s done loading. I’m glad I pay Amazon to produce this kind of trash.

I really just need a device to play music and more importantly, keep lists. The list always freezes on my iPhone (and my husband’s, a different model). There is no way to retrieve my to do list anywhere. Doesn’t matter how many times app is re-installed. This seems so simple, but it just never works.

What have you done to this app?? I can't get past the splash screen. Can't get to menus or anything and NOTHING works

For weeks now the app has been glitchy. When I open it, it sometimes closes out automatically. If it does open none of the buttons work to navigate the page. I can’t even see what’s on my grocery list because the app won’t let me push any buttons in the menu list. This is so annoying it makes having Alexa useless when all I really use it for is my shopping list. The version before the most recent update worked better than the one it updated to, to fix the glitches!!! ? someone do something!!!
