Appears for app to work, location settings must on “always”. That uses the battery on phone to a point where by the end of my work day, I’m out of battery. Need to either go back to OBD attainment or another solution. Going into settings and selecting “always” each time I use the vehicle is impractical. Thanks.

Keeps telling me my drivewise isn’t working but it’s stuck in background app refresh and I can’t adjust it. Very frustrating to not be able to take advantage of the safe driving perk.

This app only tracks a fraction of my trips. Frustrating enough even after reviewing all their “fixes” for not tracking trips. In addition forget about using gps while driving. Seriously? It dings you as having phone activity. Who doesn’t use their phone for gps? There should be a way to be able to use gps without it showing phone activity. Seems silly. This is their response: Dear Allstate Insurance Company responded to your review of Allstate® Mobile Allstate Insurance Company "The app follows your phone and not you’re your car, so there’s the chance a trip records when you’re not actually driving. If this happens, you have a few options: 1) Remove a trip via My Trips, 2) Tap ‘Stop Trip’ when a trip is in progress or 3) Switch on ‘Standby Mode’. The trip won’t count toward your driving record. " Did they not read my review! It’s not tracking my trips!!

With the latest IPhone IOS 15 and beyond, in the settings they have included the button “While app is in use”. Can’t you change this in your improvements instead of having it set to “Always”? Sure will help the battery drain and still record all the drives.
Stopped recording trips

The last trip recorded in the app was 1/18/22. I had a trip on 1/23/22. An alert in the app says Check back when you take your first trip. That alert shows under the Drivewise section once logged in. Needs to fix ASAP.

I can’t send a text or email of my insurance card. No matter how many times I try to click the blue circle with an arrow in it, nothing happens. When you click on app support wherever you can get this app, nothing happens other than the app opens.
Failure to log trips
Frustrated Drivewise User
Drivewise has stopped logging driving trips. For a brief period in mid-January it sporadically logged a few but since the 19th none have been logged. I have removed and reinstalled the app twice. The iPhone operating system is updated to the latest version and I have shut down and restarted the phone. But, at least it’s allowing me access to ID cards and policy payments.
