Not a fan of the new updates. making an account and needing access to browser history etc just makes me skeptical with it being a chinese app and the chinese government messing with their domestic complies for data mining. had previously used the app for years and was happy with it before.

Preferred old version without smart rope

The old blue colored app worked for me. You could weigh yourself and then open the app, and it could sync. The new red app is not reliable, measurements don’t always sync from scale to phone. It’s also not as nice looking. Also, in both versions, the graphs that show weight over time are flawed since the time axis isn’t to scale.

With update to V3 you can’t use app unless you sign up to their cloud.

Dislike the upgrade

Really dislike the part of the upgrade where it now requires a microscope to view if you lost or gained weight compared to previous weighing. Previously there was clear bold and visual colored indicators showing a gain or loss. Please revert to the original interface for this information.

App will not work

The app constantly crashes when using my scale. I have to manually input the weight in my health app. This makes the “smart scale” useless!

Deleted all my old data when app updated automatically

The app auto updated and got rid of weight data I had been saving from the last 4 years. It also required me to register an account with personal info they couldn’t possibly need. This is pretty clearly just an attempt to gather data on users (this is a Chinese company, so what they do with that data is anyone’s guess). I’d avoid buying products and apps from this company if I were you.

Update Deleted my Data

I enjoy the smart scale and it’s instant transfer of my weight and other metrics to the phone app. Although the tracking graphs could have been amazing in the old app version, they were still pretty good. In fact, I had weighed myself almost daily for over 3 years. But this morning, I realized that the app had updated over night and only TWO WEIGH INS WERE SAVED. All my data was deleted except for some random days in 2017. Boo.

Update broke connection to my smart scale
