The best backgammon players, who attend real tournaments, regard this as THE go-to backgammon bot. The reason so many people think the dice aren't fair is because XG plays so strongly, which makes more rolls into good rolls. Simple as that. It looks like it's getting lucky because it has put itself into advantageous positions that make more numbers work out well. Use XG and learn how to do that yourself.

Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, unless this person lives in isolation or remote areas around the globe. The best way is to join a club and play against real competition and not against algorithms set up to disadvantage the opponent. I stopped my son from using it because he was learning bad habits and making reckless plays. His game really improved playing against skilled players.

I felt the need to delete and reinstall this app, as it was acting wonky. I had the premium version. After reinstalling the app I went to renew my purchase, but it failed to do so. I contacted the developer twice, but got absolutely no response. Apple were no help either. Now I have a $20 premium version. Lame.

The dice on this game are so loaded it’s actually funny. I’m annoyed that I gave them money. I don’t understand the need to cheat with the dice in order to act like there is some intelligent game play going on. Don’t waste your money

Good in concept, but cheesy, low-quality graphics and crashes constantly. I rarely spend more than a buck on a phone app but wanted to support a company making what I thought was a quality product. Unfortunately, the app is too unstable to use as serious tool, crashing at least two times per game. Avoid until reviews start reflecting a fix for the software in a later update. Unacceptable.

Do not buy this game! This is the most expensive backgammon game you can buy and it crashes several times EVERY game. Furthermore, the higher skill levels are definitely based on dice rolls. It is very unrealistic.

The higher you set the computer level, the more doubles, and exact rolls the computer gets to beat you. Not realistic. Actually, quite humorous and obvious how fixed it is. Should of stayed with the free version. The company should reimburse me for wasting my money on the paid version, or at least warned me. Geek programmer ripping people off again. I have played thousands of games on yahoo at the most advanced level against great players and I know this program is fixed at the top levels. What kind of fun is that?
