Excellent game but skewed dice

This is an excellent app with great features including tutor mode. Unfortunately as some others have noted it skews the dice in its own favor as a means of becoming a stronger opponent. I used to doubt this but after playing the PC version long enough there’s no doubt in my mind; the app version is just too lucky!

After playing with it for a few hours, it seems wildly smarter than the previous app I tried, and likely quite a bit smarter than I am. The hints are very interesting, and it is easy to use.

Most unrealistic game I’ve ever played

I’m a very good-to-expert player and I’ve never seen a game that is harder to win than this. Also, the user interface isn’t very good; I hid the game options bar and have no idea how to make it reappear. What is nice is the game play is pretty fast, but 9 times out of 10 the computer will roll all the best rolls.

Has a great reputation but it’s really hard to simply start a new game. Developers need to study BGNJ and a few others.... and also test the app out on every day people to make the use more intuitive. Rarely use due to clumsy interface.

I love playing on line. This is the second learning BG app I’ve purchased and the best in way of strategies. The first being Backgammon NJ. There are some awesome players out there and this app may bring you to a level to beat them!

Indispensable for finding the recognized best moves in the game of backgammon. Putting it in “training mode“ is the way to go. Probably one of the best if not THE best backgammon bot on the market. Well worth the money if you want to be a serious player.

The best I’ve seen. Thankfully they’ve fixed the bugs. One small request: a feature for when you’re on the bar to automatically continue till you hit back in.

Great, but won’t restore upgrade

Love it, but you can’t restore the premium upgrade purchase when you buy a new phone. The restore button simply hangs. I have emailed several times and gotten no help. This would otherwise be a five star rating. Update: I finally went back and repaid the upgrade fee. Easily the best, most competitive BG program in the market and it is worthy of a five star rating, which i will provide when they refund my second upgrade charge! :-)

I discovered while searching for a file to attach to an e mail... I hit browse, and ALL info I had downloaded to Dropbox, docs, sheets, Excel, word, etc. Was listed under the XG Backgammon app!!!!! Literally hundreds of my personal, saved information was saved on this backgammon app!! DO NOT USE!
